This game reminds me a lot of Limbo but more colorful. The music and narration are both sweet and the puzzles are challenging and satisfying with each new area having different mechanics to keep things fresh.

I really enjoyed this metroidvania game. The side quests are fun, the equipment and abilities allow for many viable builds, and the main story has multiple endings, all of which are pretty staight-forward. The grind for certain materials is tedious but I was able to find plenty of online guidance for where to look for stuff. There's also a couple of different game modes to check out once you've beat the main game. I loved playing as Miriam and defeating bosses and becoming more powerful. I felt super satisfied after beating the game. It was an awesome experience.

The Medium is a really fun linear story-driven game. The only issue I faced was the FPS drops that happened randomly but frequently. It didn't undermine my experience to be honest. I enjoyed the mystery of the story and the gameplay.

New update along with Act 2 is whack. I miss the perks. T'was a fun and quick change in abilities reward for completing achievements. Now it's just a slow boss grind with a max of 36 points and a skill tree with mostly stat increases that shows very little return for the time invested for several runs. RIP good game, now mid.
