The game is not currently playable due to the ongoing bot crisis (an influx of bots that cheat and ruin the game for everyone else).

Unfortunately, not enough (or really, anything substantial) is being done/has been done in the past to combat this, despite the response from Valve resulting from the previous (#savetf2) movement.

Despite this, the playerbase of this game is admirably not willing to give up, and I join them in this.

It may be difficult, but something must be done.. something that is substantial that won't just be a tweet to give people hope or simple "solutions" (such as globally muting F2P players for example), and the playerbase must not falter until this is done.

So, Valve, please fix.

If you're planning on playing the game mainly for the story and some side missions, then it's good, however, if you're like me and wish to 100% the game, it might be a bit more painful (for example, some of the requirements for 100% completion might take a few hours to complete because they depend on luck, so you might be stuck doing them for a while depending). Overall, I would say this game is one of the least 100%-completionist friendly games I've ever played, at times it felt like Rockstar didn't intend for people to do that, which strikes me as odd, as in my opinion, the game should encourage you to play it more, not actively discourage you. Not to mention, the gold medals (optional objectives for missions) have been made much worse since GTA V, so much worse that I quickly decided they're not worth it for me personally, and I'd advise against doing them, unless you really feel like it, but bear in mind that it will take a while to do them because they are not very well designed and you will have to do a lot of waiting because a lot of missions have a part where not much happens, but you can't skip it, even in a mission replay. All that aside, like I said in the beginning, the story and other missions felt quite alright, the main character is great and so is the music, but I would strongly advise taking your time instead of rushing through the story with this game, it plays better that way.

Rising Storm: A great realistic multiplayer FPS with a very immersive combat system. The Banzai charge mechanic is one of the most interesting mechanics I've seen a game like this employ.

A short game with a nice aesthetic and some nice music.

Got this game for free and decided to play it.. didn't expect to complete it but I did, the story was quite captivating for me.

A classic from my childhood. The first open world game I ever played and I definitely don't regret it. A very good game for its time, though a little buggy at times.

Good game for doing various silly and perhaps a lot less silly activities, need I say more?

Good game. There are a few improvements to the core gameplay mechanics that aren't noticable if you're not paying attention, but they certainly improve the feel of the game. Too bad Episode Three hasn't come out..
Edit: Well, well, looks like we did get a new Half-Life game after all these years.. and people did not believe it would happen.

A short sequel to a great game. Enough said.

Had to write a review for this. One of my favourite games of all time, with great gameplay for its time and an interesting storyline.
