10/10. The atmosphere of this game is unrivaled and the game play is just as good. It's one of those games that you wish you could forget and then play blind again.

This game could have been so good...but it was so bad..

As you progress, you go through an evolution of what gaming was like..kind of. This game is basically a mix of three games: Pokemon (traversing through a top down world and cutting down tree's), Zelda (puzzles and dungeon combat style), and Final Fantasy (Overworld Turn-Based Combat). I love all three of these games, but every one of them felt poorly done and almost lazy. You switch between the different combat systems for no reason sometimes, making it feel very forced.

The plot line is forgettable (not to mention bad..), the length of the game is short, and the "quests" you do in the game are laughably incoherent.

If you want a story, or a good combat system, or progression in anyway, do not buy this game.

If you just want some nastalgia done poorly, this game is for you.
