It’s hard to review these expansions because you have to separate the campaign from the seasons/episodes. That said, compared to last year’s Lightfall (meh) and Witch Queen the year before (great), I will gladly say that, at least thus far and with the campaign, the Final Shape seems great. The first episode thus far is kinda whatever, but the campaign and the raid are awesome.

I've played the original trilogy of the Dead Space games. I can't really say anything that hasn't already been said. This is as good of a remake as you could ask for in this day and age.

Great fun! Got it done relatively quick, though. Maybe wait for a sale unless the price makes sense to you at base.

Hades is great!

To start off, I learned about it when the sequel was announced, and then I saw how well it was rated. So I gave it a shot, buying it when it went on sale.

To begin, this genre of game is NOT something I'm usually into. But this game hooked me. Great characters, great story, lots of variety in enemies and progression, stuff like that. A lot of games get boring when you do the same thing over and over, but not this. I couldn't tell you why, but it manages to do it fantastically.

Give this game a shot!

One year after this expansion, I can look back and say what this brought to the table. I can't necessarily say what wasn't included for free and what was included for pay, but this year was a good year overall.

The Witch Queen brought us Vow of the Disciple, one of the best raids in a long time. It also brought us weapon crafting, a game-changer for Destiny. King's Fall also showed up in this year, as well as two dungeons in the form of Duality and Spire of the Watcher.

Best of all, the story presented in the campaign was solid. Savathun is a fantastic villain, and I'm sad she won't be getting as much of the spotlight going forward. It may just be the fact that Lightfall's story was so abysmal, but even during this year of content, people loved the story and the Legendary campaign.

The seasons of this year were toss-ups. We had Risen, Haunted, Plunder, and Seraph. Some good weapons, some good stories. Some bad on both similar fronts.

Overall, though, if I can look back at a year of content and be happy (or simply not regretful) that I bought it, I'll rate it well. I would definitely give that accolade to the year of the Witch Queen.

It's so hard to rate a live-service game like this; content that was added versus content that still exists the game versus content that was taken out of the game. I'll do my best though.

You have to look at this game in several different ways. There's the [base] game from the beginning, there's major expansions, and there are smaller seasons within those. Some content has been entirely removed from the game, like the Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and Forsaken as far as campaigns. Old seasons have come and gone. There's quite the degree of FOMO in all of it. "You have to be there."

Witch Queen's campaign, as of recent times, is great. Its individual seasons were toss-ups (Risen, Haunted, Plunder, Seraph), but the overall year was above average. We got the Vow of the Disciple raid, one of the best in the game, as well as the return of King's Fall from Destiny 1 and a reprisal of the Deep Stone Crypt's weapons, all three raids of which have exotic weapons and craftable weapons. We "ate good" that year with stuff like that, especially with two dungeons in the form of Spire of the Watcher and Duality, each also having exotics and good weapons. Seraph, in my opinion, was the only truly good season of the bunch.

However, we're not talking about Witch Queen; we're talking about Lightfall. So far, we've had two seasons: Defiance and Deep. We got a raid in the form of Root of Nightmares and a craftable loot reprisal of Last Wish so far. Ghosts of the Deep is a great dungeon as well. Not terrible.

But the campaign? It presents more questions than it answers. Just read other reviews, watch videos on YouTube to figure that bit out. On top of all that, after playing since 2017/2018, the game has devolved from quality seasons like Forge/Drifter/Opulence to what we have now, including aggressive monetization without any discernible rise in quality.

If you're reading this and are thinking about jumping into Destiny, know what you're getting into. Some of us have been here a while, and the best of the game is behind us as quality is left behind piece by piece. FOMO is a thing for even the best days of these games. You can still find fun in it, but burnout is real, and quality isn't coming in, rather leaving.

For the price you pay, you get more than your money's worth out of this.

It's amazing how much content you can get for so little. It seems silly and like a throwback to simpler times in gaming, but isn't that what was fun about it?

Favorite part? Quintuple chest. 10/10

As a preface, I was a kid when I got Wario Land 4 for my GBA. I loved the game, playing it fully and loving the creative spin on levels and gameplay. It was fun, frenetic, and colorful. One of the games I have even gotten back into playing on emulation software.

Now, when I first heard of Pizza Tower, I thought it was just an elaborate internet meme. Turns out, it was a full-fledged game. It lived and breathed the spirit of Wario Land, and despite it being short for the non-completionist that I am, I loved it. It is Wario Land if Wario Land snorted crack, to say nothing of how that applies to how ungodly fast you can get Peppino going.

The game also presents a fair degree of challenge if you decide to pursue P-ranks (the highest rank per level) or all of the achievements. I personally don't care to, but for the completionists, your challenge awaits.

Played through the main game back when it came out on Xbox. Bought it again with Iceborne included on sale like a few weeks ago for PC and forgot just how addictive the hunting/improvement loop can be. I typically only play looter shooters, but this filled that void in a different way. Played through both campaigns fully at this point, only special assignments left for me at this point. Money well spent in my opinion.
