Bohemia lived up to my expectations regarding this DLC. While you can't murder the aliens, it adds more than enough content to the base game to warrant a purchase, not to mention the Campaign and the new fancy toys you get to play with like ED-1 along with the device used in the Electronic Warfare side of the DLC itself.

While its true, you can't shoot aliens like Arnold in Predator or Master Chief, there ain't no need to bash BI for not basing the DLC around Sci-Fi warfare against an alien species. At the end of the day, BI did a great job with the DLC, and who knows, we might see some Multiplayer Compat in the future to allows those that want to use/experience the stuff seen in the Contact Campaign to do so.

(Of course, the Spectrum Device sadly isn't usable in Multiplayer by default but works really well in Campaign, that being said a mod has come out that makes it usable in the base game, albeit with some scripts)
