Hey shrimp!! man u have thread about ffxiv steam and non steam account. Im in the same boat as u. Im from Brasil and here the steam game and time game is way cheaper than the us, because the dolar change. Wanted to know how went with u about adding or creating another ffxiv account for steam purpose....thx for helping!!

Cheers for going above and beyond with all the info mate, I'll definitely suss out the bundle. I'll start with the PC games first and see if that grips me into the Table Top

On the PC game front, they've been making them forever, so depending on what type of games you like (Starcraft-like, Diablo-like, Civ-like, X-com like, etc)...I can offer suggestions.

Post in the TW:WH forums and you'll get lots of responses (we have our share of trolls as well; just ignore them). You can always send me an IM as well though I don't always respond quickly.

You can also go to the Official Games Workshop site, it's got oa lot of stuff and the web store you can spend a lot of time ogling. If you want to see painted models, Instagram, Pinterest, etc...there are tons of places to look.

If you find you really have the bug to check out this 40K think on the tabletop, The best deal dollar to model you can find is Indomnitus...but they're out of print, so you have to make sure they're not too overpriced. I own two of them and there's tons of modesl in them, plus the hardcore rulebook. Most of the boxed starter sets can get you on your way, but if you aren't sure what faction tickles your fancy, you could always buy the core rules seperately and sit in on a few games and read lore to figure what sounds fun.

Here's a link to the Humble Bundle Warhammer 40K bundle. They are so cheap it's stupid not to pick it up. None of the books are particularly about any major plot points of the universe at large, so you can look through them and decide to read what you fancy first. It has a good variety of factions represented.

If you aren't aware of or haven't played the table top version, the most efficient way to see a range of the items in the range (of miniatures and miniatures games), would be to go to a Games Workshop store...I checked and they do have them in Australia. Failing that, most game hobby stores should have a decent selection of GW stuff.
