TLDR: I am unable to recommend this game to anyone. You and your friends will enjoy yourself much more in Wildlands.

Breakpoint from my experience is a downgrade on everything that Wildlands had except for the textures of the game. Breakpoint was visually really nice to look at as a world but being pretty doesn't actually give it any life as it was mostly dead and empty from what is needed to populate a world. The setting being a remote island out of contact with the rest of the world seemed fine as a concept but ubisoft missed the mark at making it feel good or interesting. There was no life, nothing to make this world feel alive only random checkpoints of guards to distract you or slow your exploration.

There is so many settings needed for you to agree to or change on launch so be expected to spend a good amount of time changing how the game runs whether you want it to be somewhat like past Ghost recon games coming from that expereince or whether you want it to be like a looter shooter with gear tiers. There is so many new keybinds that rebinding them almost always causes 1-2 conflicts and even after clearing up the conflicts so that there is no more red markers you will find that the ORIGINAL binding still worked on that key when pressed whilst also using the NEW binding creating terrible instances of deplying drones/displaying gear wheels or pulling up some other worthless menu to overlap. ALSO why is there a keyboard hotkey to open the paid currency shop which can be pulled up mid firefight? Greed was on their mind with this title.

When I attempted multiplayer the servers struggled so badly and had so many issues that the other guy refunded the game. These being issues from desyncing from the lobby and having to restart his game just because he entered a loading wall/door or simply lagging in a helicopter so much that you are trailing behind or get killed form collision trying to move back into the vehicle.

Just stick to Wildlands you will only experience disappointment with this mess.

Guess everyone was right about this game from the start

I used to be super hyped for this as I really wanted a Dragon game but the devs only wanted your money this is beyond obvious once you get to the main menu and have so many micro transactions it's hard to see what you are looking at.
Servers are terrible and have only gotten worse over the years, the menu is buggy, the client is so much worse now and launching for games sometimes causes crashes.

There is never going to be any good reason to play this and it'll never be worth your time and especially your money.

If you are an existing player with a previous account from the 2014 mobile release the PC version is huge upgrades in all the right places. Game remains mostly the same and there has been lots of nice quality of life changes for farming and managing your roster.

If you are a NEW player just don't bother installing or playing this it's not worth your time or energy.

The Devs couldn't wait to kill off anything good about this game any faster.

- Removed jet packs from almost all characters completely and with that most of a players mobility to play fights. THIS WAS THE MAIN SELLING POINT OF THE GAME!
- Nerfed movement so badly that you don't even have options anymore once a fight breaks out. Also added slows to your speed when taking damage making it a death sentence once someone shoots you.
- Ruined the weapon mods mechanic so that nothing is interchangeable anymore and you have to find/carry mods for the gun class you want to use. Which can result in whole matches of carrying 1 class of gun and not getting mods or carrying mods without finding a compatible gun in time.
- They reworked the characters and how they looked to be ugly (goodbye any fan service there used to be)
- Devs show no support to the players, servers or creators outside of the SEA region which killed any hopes of a western community.

I cannot recommend this game anymore and certainly have no interest in playing it in it's current state. It's early launch for PC around March 2023 was it's best state and it only got worse with each patch from there.

Very fun little game, even if the game play gets a tad repetitive however is still very fun to play.
Rather slow progression with how it gives new equipment but this does allow you lots of time to play with each new unlock before the next.

Some of their community managers really need to get the purge for how they talk to their player base for different reasons. Just is no way they are trying to represent their game positivly whilst having employees calling people of being pedos.

Of all the titles I have been gifted this one I kind of wish I didn't accept wasn't worth the time spent. I'm lazy but this game well... I think I could have done the same thing showing photos in Powerpoint 2010

Devs are far too greedy and want your money in unfair amounts. Pay for everything even repairs to content you own.

I disliked this game from the time I trialled it and have no interest in ever touching it again. However I know there are people out there who love War Thunder and it's a shame the devs have decided to kill their game for money.

It's all the more reason now to push new/old players or more importantly players wallets away from this game to save the consumer from Gaijin Greed

Tragic really because there is a really good extraction shooter in there... somewhere.

Too bad that the UI is completely unusable so you'll never get past the menu to play the game because making a hunter is nearly impossible trying to get through all the bloat they added to try appeal to console players. After all the years of playing this game it still took me 2 hours to figure out how to make a hunter, trying to use the perk menu and find any of my guns and then establish how to queue up. Not to mention all the bugs from overlapping text, getting kicked to the menu all the time, the tabs you need to click to set things greying out so you can't use it, adding team mates is near impossible because of how bugged it is now. Reconnecting bug is worse than it ever was before as it now makes you restart the computer in some circumstances.

Honestly if it wasn't for the time I have sunk into hunt I wouldn't have bothered. You can expect that any new player is going to close this after like 10min of head ache and refund this after not being able to play the game.

How far Crytek have fallen to somehow butcher their biggest update since launch.

Welcome the sad, cold DLC that deleted a large chunk of the base game as well as ALL OF THE FREE TO PLAY CONTENT. Says all you need to know about the direction Bungie has taken with their game.
