Nicely crafted game, many familiar elements of other rpg's you have played in the past. Go back to them. This game is not even a little bit fun. They say the community is great, but that refers to the people who respond to questions and actively participate in chat. All 4 of them. The rest simply click 'report' on you whether or not there is anything to report. Then a CSR takes command of your game to 'discuss' the issue with you--by 'discuss' i mean 'accuse you of heinous violations when the only evidence is lies, shut you down, and refuse to respond to you'. Read some of the other comments, they are mostly true and valid, especially the part about the devs wanting to keep the small base they have, and have ZERO tolerance for any new players. Don't waste your time with this game.

You are correct about a part of the so-called community and their supporters.
You are wrong about putting down this game for such a reason.

A few facts that you (and everybody else) should know:
-the present "devs" have nothing to do with this game and its original development
-the present community is best ignored, just bring your friends on, breathe some life into this game, because this game is really special, regardless of some weird community and equally weird owners that kiss the behinds of old playerbase.

Ryzom is easily one of the most special and interesting mmos ever created, of all the mmos i played over the years (and i played a lot of them), Ryzom stands out as one of the absolute best.

Do yourself a favor and give this game a chance, bring your friends, spread the word, once enough new players take residence in this wonderful Ryzom world, the old community will become insignificant and you, the new players will shape the fate of this game.
