With the sudden exit of Early Access for Beyond The Wire, I thought it'd be a good to write this review.

With the current state of the game and development I would not recommend buying for now as there are ZERO players. I say wait a year or a year and a half when there are major updates and overhauls.

Before BTW exited EA there had been many forms of constructive criticism, player feedback and overall support for the game to succeed when it eventually released. However it was hard to see if our feedback was heard at all.
Often times everyone would have unanimous decisions and valid criticism on the games many bugs and design choices that hindered player retention and enjoyment for extended periods of time, but felt like it was ignored or put on the list of un-importance.
With player counts being at, on most days, 9 concurrent players on weekends, and this is mostly because of the lack of advertising and I personally think, poor developer communication.

Beyond The Wire, needed to be delayed indefinitely until it was in the shape it needed to be in, however with the introduction of OWI becoming the publisher for the game, deadlines and compromises were definitely a major part of development afterwards. Speculation, but I believe OWI rushed Redstone to push the game to be released as soon as possible in a form of competition with the anticipated release of Isonzo by M2H and Blackmill Games.

Beyond The Wire has incredible potential, it needs more time refining and slightly nudging the core gameplay/design choices, player retention and overall marketing into a better direction.

Fantastic game, great voice acting, great story, great animation and upgraded graphics than your normal Half-Life 2 it is worth getting.

I mean it's okay I geuss.
