Recently, I watched a popular YouTube/Twitch personality play some of this game. It was by far the most ridiculous (and adorable) 15 minutes of my day, so I thought, "I want to experience this game for myself. How much is it? I want it."

Lo and behold -- approximately $3 dollars later, I am here. And it has been WONDERFUL! Shout-out to RTGame for bringing this delight into my life.

Placid Plastic Duck Simulator is absurd in concept and perfect in execution. You load in, you watch rubber ducks spawn randomly into a pool, and you get to name them (if you'd like)! You can participate wholeheartedly in developing your little flock, making up stories for each duck and laughing at each surprise spawn; or you can just let it play in the background, functioning as a Superior screensaver alternative. My favorite rubber ducks are named Mimi and Eggs Beneduck. They float with the others in peace and harmony, except with regards to the Flamingo. He's Not Our Friend.

This game has satisfied the childish part of me that craves relaxation and pure silliness. I am eager to keep playing and complete the rubber duck family! However, I have one critique: the "Back" button in the Collection tab tends to move around with the game's dimensions [i.e. Full Screen vs. Windowed], which covers up the "left" icon to flip between the Main Game and DLC Collections sometimes. It makes naming all my duckies a bit of a long-winded process, and seems like something that can be easily fixed? But it is honestly inconsequential to my overall enjoyment of the game. 9.5/10, 4.8 out of 5 stars, 100% recommend to those just looking for a silly little simulator. PLEASE CREATE MORE DUCK DLC!!!! :D
