Excellent game. Players of Slay the Spire will probably find this a lot easier, but it's fun regardless.

fun little game with simple mechanics

Pros:
- Way more card combinations available than the last major game
- Less janky than Violet Detector
- Replayable
- You can skip the RNG by using a special card that lets you go straight to the boss. This feels like cheating though..

Cons:
- Feels like playing PoFV again with the ridiculous fairy RNG. Some fairy combinations are a joke and others are a nightmare to get past
- Not an easy game for newcomers
- Some items trivialize certain spellcards, which can potentially be unfun

This game is very, very fun with friends, and pretty fun in singleplayer!
Since you can read the game description, I won't repeat what kind of gameplay it's like, but for comparison it's a bit like Borderlands with a lot of focus on building the most cheese builds possible. Balance? If everyone cheats, both AI and players, it just makes the game more fun right?

"Damn, I hate roguelites"

If you're not a fan of roguelites, then you might still like this game! There aren't really any must-haves or else your run is doomed kind of scenarios, but for the first few levels you might find yourself struggling with health/progress through the levels. This is normal, and it definitely gets better as you unlock more of your characters.
Definitely recommend getting to the Reincarnation levels, it definitely adds a lot more depth to gameplay.
