Excellent game, great sequel to Metro 2033. Very atmospheric and immersive, with a great setting and a good story. The gunplay and stealth leaves a bit to be desired, but it works well enough. The game has a "karma" system, but it is not at the forefront like, for example, the paragon/renegade scale from Mass Effect. There are some choices you can make, and actions you can take that affects the world around you, but the game does not really tell you about it. It is there for you to discover. I can understand that this can cause some frustrations, but personally I like it. :)

This is one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. The enviroments are amazing, both in terms of visual design and fidelity. The music and ambient soundscape also really make the setting come alive. The enviroment is the true star of this game, but the story itself is engaging enough to keep you going till the end.

The gameplay is basically exploration and puzzle solving. The puzzles are for the most part quite good, although a few can get a little frustrating.

All in all, a good game, well worthy of your time :)
