10/10! As expected!

Bought it the moment it dropped this morning and have been playing it since. The new update DLC adds SO many more cool little things to deco with.

-Details-

The grid system? A life saver if you like to match/line things up.

The cooking? As exciting getting something new like when they first introduced pets.

The smoothness? Have had zero issues so far and everything runs great.

The RENTING system? So glad this was added. You can make passive income while deco-ing houses. So gives you something else rather than just doing odd jobs. (Currently remodeling a house for renters as we speak.)

I have yet to open up a restaurant as I'm currently building one.. But there are so many options that I can't decide how I want it to look. If you're indecisive, not for you.

If you've ever gone into the game-play settings and changed your arms, you now get oven mitt options. Neat.

Lots of cool new wallpaper, brick, panel, lighting, windows- you name it. New DLC drops and you have about 1,500 new things to toy around with.

Can't get that many options in a Sims4 DLC. For half the price, too.

***EDIT** After several more hours, It just gets better.

Still no issues.

House rent is in the same category as auctioning a house. You can determine how long you want them to stay and how much a day a renter will pay. AND, you can still go and visit the house. Unlike sold houses that you'll never be able to see again. You can rent out a space as different types with different bonuses. Housing, Restaurant, etc.

You find new decorative cooking recipes as you unlock missions in the Dine-out map.

((Product Received for Free as Gift)) In return, bought it for someone else due to it being *that* good.

Pre-TLDR Sparknotes:
Character Creation: Superb. (Mods are already available for more character options and aesthetics.)
Gameplay: Amazing, very versatile in choices whether aggressive or passive.
Story: Many different character arcs and mini quests to get to know everybody and the land. Different special interactions based on your choices and your character.
Graphics: Beautiful
Scratch: The Bestest Boy

I only just recently, within the last 10 hours have put a campaign through into act 3. Only just recently finished act 2. Not that it HAS to be this long but the amount of characters I wanted to try out and start and different secrets I wanted to find in just Act 1 alone.. I did it over and over again and it took me a LOT of hours to get a similar result. There really is consequence to all actions and every choice has an outcome, whether that be good or bad. Some are funny, but you really do get enveloped into the story. I just bought the DLC as a thank you to the devs for an *amazing* game. Even if you don't play DND it's a fun game. If you *do* play DND it's even better. You can either choose to fight your way through everything, sword in hand, bloodied from battle.. or cheese your way through with some amazing speech checks. (My personal favorite.) Bards are just OP at talking their way out of almost anything. Sincerely, though.. There are a NUMBER of paths to take and you can get to decide how that story plays out. Outside of the obvious to picking the same actions and paths, I haven't had the same luck twice in what I've been able to find and do. Took me this long just to even feel as though I've found 80% of Act 1 alone. Have barely scratched the surface and I'm now 180+ hours in. "This game will be about 100 hours" Yeah, if you blitz right through, and even then goodluck not wanting to go check every nook and cranny.

I cannot commend the devs enough for what is now my absolute favorite game.

I have been waiting for this game for about a year now, and after several months of being pushed back, I was finally able to experience the game I had so long awaited. I have followed it's progress through Facebook, Steam, Talking to Devs, Twitter, etc. I am NOT dissapointed. In all honestly though, it's a bit misleading with how the mechanics work. It's an acquired taste when it comes to gaming. Laid back, really a lot of clicking. Just a casual game for people who have an eye for decorating and refurnishing.

Husband - Babe? Honey...? Baby!
Me - What? Huh? What'd you say? I was concentrating.
Husband - How are you concentrating that hard on a cleaning game?
Me - I HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE VASES MATCH THE COUCH AND WALL COLOR!
Husband - Alright.. Well, have fun with that. (Checks back in 4 hours later) Still hangin' in there?
Me - YES. I JUST SOLD MY FIRST HOUSE
Husband - Okay.. (Checks back in 2 hours later) Wanna go to bed yet?
Me - There's like 1% of dirt somewhere in this room and I can't find it for the life of me!

RIP Anastasia Merrie - Died of sleep deprevation due to an amazingly addictive game.

Early Access Review
Absolutely love this game. KOS from other players is my only negative outlook. Not because I can't stand it, but it's not my personal gaming style. I love the role-play life, in depth backstory and realtime gaming. DayZ has a way to play for almost everyone and it's constantly changing. You won't have the same luck twice.
