This is hands-down the best RPG game I've ever played. I have only been playing Dungeons & Dragons for about a year, but from what I've seen it remains very faithful to the source material in terms of gameplay, and the amount of freedom you have to explore and interact with the world. Spells and abilities work almost exactly how they work in the tabletop game, with some exceptions to fit the format better.

My only problem with the game has been the lack of character customization, but it isn't *too* bad. You can only select from preset face shapes, which was a big let down for me as I was expecting Skyrim or Dragon-Age levels of character customization when it came to the physical appearance of my character. There's still plenty to customize -- like your hairstyle, tattoos/scars, opacity of wrinkles and freckles, and even vitiligo pigmentation.
