I think I speak for a lot of people when they say just how important Silent Hill 2 is to them not only as a video game, but also a narrative that has a lot to do with Mental Health, This game is just that and then some.

Bloober knocked this game out of the park and pretty much somehow not only recaptured the same lightning in a bottle that the Original had. But somehow enhanced and hand crafted the environments, atmosphere, dialogue and interaction between characters in game and the cutscenes. Such a beautifully told and recreated Story now "modernized" for a new generation and audience to get lost in and completely fall in love with what i consider to be the perfect narrative.

Update: After having rolled credits on this not long ago, this has now easily taken the top spot for favorite game of all time. This is how you do it, make something brand new and unforgettable while respecting the source material and fan passion of what makes the original experience so memorable and unforgettable. While there are performance and optimization issues it still doesn't negatively impact or ruin my experience with the game at all.
