Cute game that doesn't wear out its welcome!

An incredibly tedious game that has flashes of fun, and at the end of three hours I just found myself annoyed.

Characters exist as vehicles for metaphor, providing nothing of interest or an urge to learn more about them. I found myself referring to characters as "Oh No The Girl Again", "Old Man" and "The Knight" because nothing else interesting arose for them.

The Girl's storyline involved a "twist" that wouldn't have even been interesting had I been invested in her, but fell flat even harder because it was telegraphed from a mile away.

The Old Man is the Metroidvania portion full of collectibles in nondescript locations, yet is still the most compelling portion of the game.

The Knight is the combat demo. It works but after the first two chapters or so it feels like you've fought every enemy you'll see through the entire game.

Even at 3 hours this game is utterly skippable.

Click Gift, click right twice to get to the right page of gifts, click a tree, click right nine times... congrats! You've decided to give 1 million trees to a snake. Too bad he needs twenty million trees to get out of the Friendzone.

That's right! Get ready to click two hundred and sixty times PER RESET to get past the early stages of a relationship.

The asinine crawl of fully boosted late game timers... the 1,000x reset boost required to progress a relationship... the paltry reward of a single picture (or worse, a single pair of boxer briefs only visible in one place) after two weeks of daily logins... so many indications that this game doesn't respect your time in the slightest.

The Phone Flings are a neat idea right up until the character pauses for 3 real days in mid-conversation because the timer demands it. The uncensored DLC definitely adds dongs, so if you're super into this game it's not a bad deal.

I really want to support more gay titles that have more bara-style art in them, but this is a poorly responsive flash game with repetitively shallow "gameplay". Once you've seen the static art and limited animations once you've pretty much plumbed the depths of this game.

Fun little puzzle game that was well worth a few bucks!
