Early Access Review
Simply amazing. And with the recent update, it's actually playable on my 13 year old i5.

A lot better than the first one in almost every aspect. The only 2 big problems I can really say it has is that it will randomly crash if you have too many saves since it does not overwrite in game and you have to periodically delete them manually. Then to get all the abilities to work in game you have to extract a 10GB file add a few files (or fix them manually, I would recommend downloading the fix though) and then repack that file. A few bugs here and there but nothing that can't be worked around in game from what I can tell. The jump in visuals and gameplay from the 1st one to this is insane. The physics engine still kind of sucks (armor and hair randomly glitches) and Ubersampling won't run smoothly on even the newest high end PC's but I find it looks fine with current AA and all other settings set to max. Skills in this one are even harder to choose as well since you can only pick 34 out of an available 102 due to the level being capped at 35. Overall; very enjoyable game.

This one is pretty much only worth it to play for the story and importing items to the 2nd one. Gameplay/graphics are comparable to games released 5+ years before this. Compelling story though. Oh, and crashes around more than Dandelion in a whorehouse. With fixes it can still crash around once an hour. I did get a period where it ran for about 8 though!

Utter ♥♥♥♥. Bethesda gave Obsidian a year and a half to make this game and it really shows. It has a great story and could have been a great game but instead came together into a big heaping pile of steaming ♥♥♥♥. Would not recommend for those who like their sanity.

Really cool game that is still receiving updates in 2019. Most bugs are fixed or don't seem to be too big. I haven't had a prawn or anything else fall through the map in awhile but I'm not sure if that has too. There are a few weird things when it comes to placing things but nothing irreversible except losing resources when putting ports on top of windows and whatnot. Overall worth buying, especially if you can catch it on sale.
