Lalli takes you back to the innocent era of shareware games and also not so great era historically where all Nordic countries were converted to a new "religion". This was achieved via ruthless violence - doing the exact opposite of what Christ was about, aye!

Retro aesthetics and style, easy mechanics, you'll be gaming full on in seconds. It is somewhat in the vein of classic Lucasarts' desktop adventures with Yoda and Indiana Jones. Now you play as a heathen warrior figure Lalli defending his home's ways.

Wave your nature loving heathen sword to kill, block the (actually Vatican henchmen) soldiers attacks with yer trusty shield. Mass destruction? Sure; release a pile of logs to adhere more fun type damage with one swift strike on 'em Vatican inquisitors. Kick on smaller wood piles during the fare for more roll over action.

Lalli is about hackin' & slashin' for breaks / trips even though the topic is quite stark.

Gamed on Linux desktop PC / Steam Deck (Proton 9.0-4)

If into the likes of Warcraft and Starcraft - then Circle Empire is a fast paced and fun alternative. This one's cutely cartoonish fresher take on RTS with a non-existent learning curve. Probably also inspires those usually aren't into real time strategies. Games don't often take much time either; the game fits to be whooshed away during lunch breaks at work.

Native Linux support is a plus from these wonderful fellow Estonians. One thing lacking though; Circle Empires doesn't have cloud saves!

The pompous retro 80's atmosphere with its carefree clichés and music are the main thing here! The era of Miami Vice, Hanoi Rocks, synthpop, C64 computer weekends, prank calls, VHS (/w Betamax!), BMX bikes and sharp styles.

If you loved Thimbleweed Park (2017) / Alien Incident (1996) you'll like Unusual Findings as relative mixture! Vinny, Nick and Tony are three different youngsters of witty, rebellious and adventurous type. The interaction interface here is a simple pie menu akin to the likes of Lucasarts' Full Throttle. There can be quirks when the requirement is for example to cooperate with a fellow kid; there is no straight out way to "ask" for example clicking the witty (geeky) Tony.

One speciality is that there is no additional savegame mechanism (nor need really); the game is *just saved all along* as you go. This proved to be a working decision because no game breaking bugs were found. There are no dead ends either (even though you might occasionally swear it happened), but many ways to go forward and several different endings. There is more to play then after your 1st run!

Iconic 80's film and band posters are scattered everywhere with variably funny changed names. Spot 'em all? Despite of some of its frustrating puzzles - Unusual Findings is a modern insta-classic you'll return just for the atmopsheric nostalgia hoot. Retro is a helluva drug, yes.

Oh, and the The game is grrrreat on Steam Deck despite the still Unknown status.

Infinitely better than Sega Rally =) - good retro vibes - for sure a one to pick up if seeking a good competitive simple arcade racer with a slick atmosphere. Native Linux support an absolute plus; glad to see these older makers showing their Linux love too.

Works on Steam Deck (so Linux out-of-the-box) and is an impressive fast & furious blast from the STAR WARS Episode I: The Phantom Menace era past even today. Much better than Wipeout. Jar Jar Binks rules, bro.

This is a truly dedicated creation of cyberpunk adventure in a proper dystopic rainy city. Short and could use some game-engine optimization. For this price it is unmatched cyberpunk experience of a game though, next to legendary Blade Runner (1997) now playable through ScummVM, too.

I hope for a sequel in the future!

Wonderful nostalgic atmosphere, straight forward gameplay and controls. Amazing 90's style music similar to the likes of Lotus Turbo Challenge II & III. I think the composer is the same man?

This one also a fine choice for quick casual gaming session.

Fun and realistic "enough" racer. Probably the best racer out there for Linux!

The mouse control cannot be inverted, i suppose. I have used to go up while moving the joystick down in space sims such as X-Wing / Tie Fighter.

Still i recommend this. Pretty fun.
