As someone who has never played Harvest Moon, and who very rarely plays their Animal Crossing game, I was and still am surprised at how many hours I've managed to lose to this game.
Well.
Lose would not be the correct word, as I've definitely enjoyed playing every hour I've spent in my farm.

I do recommend this with zero hesitation. It is incredibly addictive due to how short the days last in real time and I guarantee you'll find yourself thinking 'Just one more day', for about half a year's worth of them.

So this is my recommendation from someone who rarely plays games of this genre.

(I'm also super impressed whenever I find games that are developed by a single person and I do think he deserves all the support and all the positive reviews and compliments he's gotten for this game.)
