Pay to win mobile game, full of gambling and time and pay walls.

pretty damn good it won the tight game crown of this generation in my opinion

Not optimized, it is stuttering a lot, it made on Unreal engine 4. lacks graphical options seems as it was badly pored from consoles I don't recommend this game in this state.

There is very bad rubber banding, if you don't mind that it is fun and OK also if you like to try again multiple times or finish second.

Loved the first game however this one is a mess,
unbalanced, incoherent and running poorly there are significant stutters.

+/- Combat: It is improved with new combos but mostly forces the player to parry enemy attacks.

+ The drones are more viable this time around

- Bad map design: No directions or markers tons of back ally ways, when you finally memorize the map the game changes it and put new walls. Good guys other players put loot directions with tags that is a +

- Story: doesn't make any sense for some reason there are church of fanatic worshipers of electricity totally out of place and they are the main bad guys. Some OP mystery kid saved you from the plane crash and gave you powers that sums it up.

- Bosses are repeated or just regular enemies being passed as bosses only little Johnny feels like a true boss. I rather have few original bosses than fighting the same guy 4 times)

- Enemy AI: It is mostly in rush mode.

- Electrical enemies are in groups and all have stun, nano and drain your battery in the same time so you are stunned damaged and can't heal yourself this is the cheap kind of difficulty. Facing groups make the targeting system not so useful.

- The multiplying enemies are even worse

If you never played it and want to try it get The Surge 1 instead. This one however.. only on deep sale

-the hero classes make no sense
-few maps and most of them are bad
-the gun play is weird
-no shooting range
-some guns are broken
-lot of grind forcing players to go at XP farms
-at the time I played I couldn't chose team so I was put only in USA team
Wait 1 year and buy it for 5$ otherwise don't bother.
Few people play this game that is why the game have free weekend and discounts so soon after release.

Recommend when on sale(for lack of content) and with controller settings below because the default understeer is terrible

Fun game, appealing art style. You might have to fight with the controller a bit unless you have arcade stick. Deep system. Very good tutorial. Would recommend.

- The Season pass price is ridiculous don't even want to go there

Good old game. I've played it a lot back in the day and I'm happy to revisit it again with this version.
