Initial review after completing the tutorial for the sake of the game just releasing and there being few reviews:

Overall: Really cool concept, seemingly executed pretty well, absolutely worth the $13.50-15

Nitpicking:
It's small, but bugs me, the UI color for "Yes" boxes is red, which makes me pause and make sure what I'm clicking is intentional, as red is typically used for "No" or "Cancel" UI boxes. There is also the battle report in the tutorial between a neighboring general, where the battlefield was described as terribly windy to the point that arrows were described as essentially useless. However, my archers were also described as having completely destroyed enemy units. I rationalized it by thinking my general gave conflicting reports because he is stupid, lying, or both, but I'm not sure other players will do the same. Additionally, all of my infantry were destroyed in the tutorial and my army was still perfectly happy to continue on to siege another region's capital with like 50 cavalry and some archers. It also annoyed me that the tutorial voiceover seemed to be independent of the master volume level in the audio settings, and I had to alt tab to turn down my computer's volume rather than the game volume because the voiceover was too loud.

Stunlock hell.

I'm a fan of some of the gundam anime, so I have this game a try and it was fun until you get tryhards in matchmaking. These tryhards usually use gundams that allow for constant stunlock, so you're constantly falling or stumbling once they catch you with a certain attack. This turned matches into whose team can stunlock and camp spawns the most. Not a fan of that type of gameplay.

really fun TD game, great to hop on for an hour or two and just chill out

Was fun in the beginning but as with all free games it has to make money somehow. Devs turned it pay to win with purchasing packs of cards
