Not even half way through the game but I have been loving every bit of it. There will always be critiques on little things people may not like and they are valid. Even I question a couple of choices like the boss music, but that never detracted greatly from my love for this game so far. I can even say i was worried about a 2d Sonic game not being handled by the same team as Sonic Mania but my worry is now out to rest. If you are a fan of classic and 2d Sonic then this game is for you. I don't even know why so many people are leaving negative reviews simply because of the way the game opens itself or uses the Epic Games Store, I don't think those alone could come even close to giving those reviews much merit. Simply just give this game a try if you really want to and at least Steam offers returns if you don't like it.
