This is one of my all time favorite games. If you enjoy games where you set up production chains this is for you.

You can spend countless hours just optimizing the flows of the factory, to build everything faster and faster. At the same time there is some pressure to expand to new areas, your resources will deplete so you have to conquer new areas.

Favorite setting for me is Railworld since I enjoy setting up rail networks to transport goods around, but keep the biter expansion on so there is also some pressure from the enemy.

You can tweak the settings a lot and have different feeling games, lots of resources and peaceful biters to just focus on the logistics of the factory.
