This isn't a bad game, but it isn't good either. I was hoping to get just a slight bit of nostalgia while playing this game. I never played Banjo Kazooie but I have play DK 64 and it was a personal favorite of mine. Despite all the negative reviews that came out about this game I picked it up on sale just to see if it was as bad as everyone suggested or not. The community was right. This game just isn't fun and it fails to do what it was meant to do. I like collectathons when they are very strictly designed but this game was just a big open empty mess. It felt more of a hide n seek game looking for horribly placed quills then a collectathon. I initially had good opinions on the graphics but while the graphics themself are good the character design is rather bad. When you look at this game it is hard to see anything other than an off brand Banjo Kazooie game. I might be in the minority here but the old school mumble dialogue got very old and very annoying, very fast. There was more effort into writing grade school dialogue than there was in the level design itself, and to make it worse only a couple of the "voices" were actually nice to hear. I will say however, the music was excellent but I expect nothing less from Grant Kirkhope. It was a redeeming factor of this game however it is a game and not a soundtrack so I want to have fun as I play. If you like running for minutes with no action going from mini game to mini game then you may love this game. I suggest watching someone play it or getting it on a sale because it again isn't a bad game. I simply just didn't enjoy it. A lot of other people are writing go play A Hat in Time and I couldn't agree more.

Fistful of Frags in my opinion is a great game to jump on and wast some time in. The combat itself has a nice balance being medium pased for a first person shooter. The speed varies on your in-game circumstances. The graphics have been updated which are easily playable but nothing to freak out about. The weapons in the game are kind of unbalanced but the game takes that into consideration in that you score more points with certain weapons such as my personal favorite the bow where as my least favorite, the 'spam' revolvers you get less points per kill. The community has been good so far, not much harrasment. Overall, with the lack of western games (especially on PC) I would suggest trying this game out. It is underrated.
