yo this game is REALLY good. I like me some roguelikes, its almost exclusively what I play nowadays. This is definitely the king of them all. Buy this game , you definitely won't regret it.

Bought it for nostalgia, forgot a giant arc in the story line, was happily surprised at the end. Wish it had achievements! The only thing that bothers me is if you're playing on mouse and keyboard, the X and Y axis is janky as ♥♥♥♥. Trying to hack stuff, I had to increase my mouse to maximum DPI setting in order to successfully hack anything. Also navigating the menus was a little frustrating due to the same issue. Very weird.

Didn't really affect the gameplay. The FPS portion of the game had no problems with the X and Y axis. Definitely recommend if you've played it before. This review is for the ORIGINAL, not the remastered. Read that the remastered version crashes a lot so I never tried.

This game is awesome. Grinded through everything in my current playtime. Would LOVE new weapons/ scrolls/ characters/ levels. Everything in terms of game play is super fun, talent tree is cool. This game only gets better if the dev's get more money. HIGHLY recommend this game!

Super fun! 81 hours in, still finding new stuff! Dodge roll is really killing it, especially with the new FREE DLC that just came out. Appropriot balances, very fun!

Pretty dissappointed with the game overall.

It was SUPER fun at the start. I put in 100 hours in over about 3-4 weeks. Always playing it whenever I could. Beta really got me hungry for what this game could have become. And then after the 100 hours... it kind of got stale.

Stunlock Studios were not communicating with the community very well in terms of actually telling us the things that they were planning other than they were "Big". I kind of accepted it because the game was so fun at the start it had to be big! It just had to be... right?

And then...... nothing. There was immense hype around the game I feel. I was somewhat active in the subreddit and people still feel like this game was very enjoyable; but SS missed their chance on the full release I feel. I checked today for the first time in about a month and a half and they FINALLY added a new character. But there were no adjustments made to other heroes to even things out, just bug fixes. Kind of sad im writting this but the hype train has left the building.


EDIT: It has been about a year and a half and Stunlock seems to have abandoned the game (relatively) Champion releases further and further apart. Yes I got my "money's worth", but I'm looking for a game I can keep going back to. Not just a "flavor of the month" type of deal
