So far it's weird, but also unlike anything else I've ever played. The storyline is both out there and just not-out-there enough to keep me pretty enthralled through the first few hours. Voice acting and character animations are outstanding. I can see the "walking-simulator" criticisms, but I'm really enjoying it.

I'm not one who's much for playing online in fighting games, I mostly just want to enjoy the graphics/characters and have a good time. Like most Namco fighting games, this game is 100% against you having a good time. Your enemies will have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ AI, but also ridiculous advantages and the deck will be stacked against you at all times.

It's challenging, and that might be good for some people. It is, however, not even remotely fun if your goal isn't to overcome the absolute nonsense the game throws your way.

It's got some bugs, but I'm actually really enjoying it. Feels like a mix between Bethesda and Bioware type action RPGs. It runs pretty well on my machine (i7-7700k, gtx 1080), the city design itself is pretty spectacular, and the storyline has kept me going so far.

It's got some annoyances (the minimap is zoomed in so far you will constantly drive past your turns, most of your contacts end up hassling you like used car salespeople, some quest goals are very poorly explained/defined), but overall I'm liking it a lot. I hope some of those issues get fixed (especially the minimap) soon, but I think it's still worth playing in the state it's in.

Surprisingly reminds me of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Good fun, though there's the occasional "minecart" like area that's excruciating.
