ROSE Online is my favourite MMORPG of all time and will probably be for the rest of my life. Of course, it most likely won't be for practically anyone who will play this game in this day and age, because the strengths of this MMORPG to new players now only revolves around the history and idea that it is a classic. If you played this game in it's prime, you would feel totally immersed in the world of ROSE and probably never forget the ride. It really felt like an adventure. An adventure that made me believe that this game would might aswell be a RPG that loved me in it's world. There are plenty reasons why this game would irritate, annoy or even anger an audience of modern gamers through it's art style, UI, stability and overall simple gameplay, but considering that this game was a free-to-play (not pay to win) MMORPG that was introduced at the time when the World of Warcraft began, it really was a nolstagic game that contained plenty of down-to-earth players that at the end of the day, you would never see again. I have picked up and dropped this game HEAPS of times and everytime I remember what made my weekends an adventure. I'm not saying it will make any of you feel that way, or if you will even get by 10 minutes of this game without poking fun at it for being last generation, but sadly, it is what it is and if you cannot accept that this game was one of the best in it's time than you haven't REALLY experienced the vast worlds of MMORPGs. This game ties with Dragonica on my favourites list and I would love to play it again, but year by year the community dies. Out of the several hundred hours I've poored into this game during my childhood, I've never regretted it one bit. I'm not telling you to try it or waste your time on a game that you won't ever enjoy, but atleast respect this game for what it is or even what it was. If you do try it, I reccommend downloading it from the main client. Seriously though, LISTEN TO THE SOUNDTRACK!

In the underwater metropolis of Rapture, lies one of the most exhilerating, tense and memorable experiences that will always be known in the history of gaming. Bioshock 2 tells the untold story of Subject Delta, the Big Daddy who broke free, the Big Daddy that everyone has turned against, and his relationship with a specific little sister of Rapture, Eleanor. 2K Games has designed a game that expands Bioshock's mythology, but doesn’t lose any of the mystery. A game that introduces fascinating new settings and characters, but doesn’t forget or neglect those previously established. A game that gives the player devastating new power, but balances that with devastating new fear. A game that takes chances and makes changes, but almost always for the better. Playing as a big daddy, Bioshock brings destructive and fast paced arcade combat with the help of creative plasmids, setting alight, lifting trash cans and hypnotizing every single big daddy you come across. But in this mysterious dystopia, exploration is key feature to the immersion and overall enjoyment of this title, whether it is the hunting of little sisters, being hunted by big sisters or the spamming of the 'search' button. Much like its predecessor, BioShock 2 is slower and more methodical than your average shooter, but combat feels much more natural and effective than it ever did before. But I never said it would be easy.......nononononono. Being a Big Daddy sure does make you a badass but at the same time a vulnerable slow target that is very well suited to the games strengths. Rapture is a dark, dismal world that envelopes you with a blanket of isolation, excellent art direction, a great soundtrack, and a fantastic voice cast all team up with a powerful story to create an atmosphere so thick and intense that it is at times downright chilling.

Turn Clue into a first-person shooter on 1920's era luxury liners, sprinkle in bits of The Sims, and you've got The Ship. Instead of having to uncover a killer, The Ship makes you the killer. To be more specific and familiar to the gaming audience, The Ship is a very polished and creative take on the Assassin's Creed Multiplayer experience (but also keep in mind that this game came before the Assassin's Creed Multiplayer genre was released)....where the main gameplay mechanic revolves around finding your target, called your quarry, and breaking their face as stealthily as possible. To do so, there are plenty of lethal weapons and objects to wield, and even some environmental traps that you will find yourself potentially avoiding. To add flavor, everyone else on each map has a quarry as well. While pursuing your own target, you'll need to stay alert and attempt to spot the passenger readying a knife for your back. The Sims element of the game, quells upon your daily needs to survive (food, drinks, toilet, sleep, etc). The 'character's needs' element makes for a deeper gameplay experience, as your character is vulnerable to attack while you're downing a bag of chips or snoring on a bed. And it is surely funny when your friend murders you on the toilet. The Ship is one of very few games that brings a large amount of enjoyment to my friends and I. Built on Valve's Souce engine, a majority of gamers can experience a $20 title with basically 4 copies to gift away. A little too much? Ask four of your friends for $4 each, and your all set! Overall, The Ship is a very innovative, satisfying and humorous experience that a bunch of 5 friends can't pass up.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is the first game to successfully tell a story within the video game genre. It is more an experience rather than a game. It is the most emotionally charged game to an extent where it doesn't overstay it's welcome. Brothers operates with a beautifully spare efficiency in every aspect of its narrative and design, propelling you through a striking storybook landscape in which gameplay mechanics and thematic storytelling thread together more tightly than most games can manage. The resulting journey is so singularly devoted to creating a specific tone and atmosphere that you won't likely be able to stop thinking about it until long after you've seen it through to the end. And it surprisingly excels at this without saying a single word and without forcing anything upon you. It is really understandable that it would be the Game of the Year and is already a personal choice of famous youtubers. It is clearly my Game of the Year. Dont't watch it, play it. This game will impact you in a way that no other game ever did. Lock your door, plug in your controller and start Brothers. Play it in one sitting, it is a 2 and half to 3 hour journey. I could go on and on about this game but I cannot put it all in words. It is an unforgettable experience. I definitely reccommend it. :)

I can't describe how much I love this game. Blacklight: Retribution brings a whole heap of creative, balanced and exciting content to the FPS genre. With continuous community content and updates, Blacklight excels at presenting the sci-fi futuristic shooter-theme with detailed graphics, creative killing, massive customization, the mostly balanced P2W system and the satisfaction of putting a bullet or hammer into your rival's helmet. The only problems I have with this game are the trade system, how the game runs and the diminishing community. Overall, this game is my second favourite game of all time. I highly reccommend it!!!
