No but really, this game has 2 aspects to it: Vanilla and modded. Vanilla Skyrim is a game that is filled with desires, hard times, comedy, epicness but in core all about adventure. Not every player can get that immersed into vanilla Skyrim as us fans of The Elder Scrolls, the others don't understand the lore: the fundation of Nirn, Aetherius or the Oblivion planes. How Talos (Tiber Septim) has led his armies to conquer all of Tamriel. How the Great war has affected and crippled Tamriel we all know and love from previous titles. How Daedra are manipulating mer/men and the every day Aedra are fighting and holding on the Oblivion gates so they dont open again. There is too much...

Modded Skyrim is a game that you can to 100% customize (not the engine) but every little thing can be changed. You can make it into the best survival game/most beautiful game/most hardcore even into a shooter game. You can make it anything you want with tools like Mod Organizer/Nexus mod manager/Steam workshop.

Like they say: ''mod it until it crashes.''

I would recommend this game as vanilla first so people can try and get into the Elder Scrolls as the developers made it. And later mod it. Because mods are the essential thing that makes Skyrim one of the most played games till today.
