Very fun to just explore and once you get the hang of making money the world galaxy universe is your oyster. The gameplay can get a bit repetitive however if you are looking to just chill and explore this game is perfect. Each time you land on a new planet it's exciting to see what it will be like and what you can find, where you can build etc.

I first played in 2017 and it blows me away how much it has changed for the better - all for completely free, with no microtransactions to be found anywhere.

So overall, if you want a game to explore freely (there is also a creative mode for no stress) or you're looking for a game to fight space pirates, alien drones, tame animals, build incredible bases or just take some beautiful screenshots, I would recommend you try this game - it's also frequently on sale for -50%

Only found out about this game about 3 months before release so I had no expectations, I was pleasantly surprised! It's a cool world if you like the theme and lots of the mechanics are satisfying (there was some jank in some places). The map is very large and I feel like I could explore for hours just looking around. Cool aesthetic and pretty fun missions too - I would say ~8/10.

This is the first RPG that hooked me, mostly due to the realistic setting and characters being engaging.

Feels better to play than it looks, you quickly get past the graphics. At this point its reputation gives it all the review it needs so if you like FPS games then just play it. It will run on almost any modern hardware at 60fps minimum. This game also led to a lot of important things in the games industry, like Counter-Strike, which in turn led to Steam

Honestly some of the criticisms in other reviews are a bit of a stretch... obviously, like all games there are flaws, e.g. melee combat would have been nice, and the movement speed is a little slow in continuous, the mode I assume most will use, however I found it easy to look past these things when I immersed myself into what was available.

If you have a VR headset and don't have this game, buy it when you have the chance. Once the main game is finished, there is full workshop support for you to play with. Half-Life is famous for the community content that comes from it so I can bet that the workshop will continue to grow for a long time.

Overall 100% recommend this game, it was "worth the wait"

Epic game, you probably need the textures for Gmod anyways... play it
