Z.O.E 2 is one of my favorite games of all time aside MGS3. HOWEVER this port is not so good, so do these things before playing.
1st, make sure your audio (either headphones or speakers) are in 24bit 48000hz (Studio Quality) or else you will experience the worst audio crackling in the world. And 2nd, force the game to run at 60fps, otherwise the game will be impossibly fast.

This is a great game and I definitely recommend it to people, either this version or the hd collection or even the original on PS2!
