I have 40 hours in the demo too.
I enjoy the different combinations and giving birth to the unexplored wild symbiotic combinations.
So far I beat Hostility 4, and I think so far I beat all the Hostility level with a different kind of build.

Simply because you have to adapt to your RNG in the shops and Supply boxes, and bring out the best you can do with your given resources.

I think in the early games the +100% XP tower is a bit too OP. But good for casual enjoyers.
Later in the progress you can easily surpass that Tower with any other's trait.

Then you can unlock the special Towers, which can really make your runs colorful.
Blind runs. Or basically Hardcore run, where you can barely regenerate your HP. Or just a micromanaging focused Tower.

And its only just the release.
Since then there were QoL patches, and the discord community so far enjoys the exploration of the wildest builds you can think of.
