today this game turns 25 years old, i remember playing this for the first time when i was 10, since then i was amazed, not only because the game is fun to play, but everything else that comes with it. counter-strike isn't just a shooting game, it's more like a school, here you learn about yourself, how to deal with people, you learn how to improve your own abilities, and even more than that, this game taught me that nothing is really over, you can still bring your best and turn everything your way, you can do that by a deag headshot, a call that changes how the round ends, a new smoke granede that you just learned while scrolling tiktok... just like in life, you can still overcome your weaknesses, this game is about resiliance, grinding, and most important i think, it's about people, how fun would it be if we couldn't share all these moments together? either by playing or creating amazing communities, speaking about that, this game was built from the community to the community and will forever be. and i kinda "spent" a few hours having some fun here (or trying to...), and you may ask, "are you proud of that?" no, lol. but i'm very happy to remember every friend I met while playing and every moment this game gave me, happy birthday counter-strike, I hope to see you for another 25 years <3.
