Some randos were RP'ing as the police on a 3x server and made me an honorary officer of the GPD. Went around "arresting" and "evicting" "undesirables", and handed out "fines" around the map. I logged in to see a poorly drawn version of my character with Employee of the Month underneath in the GPD headquarters, and brought a tear to my eye. I was then promptly raided by a Korean 16 man at 1am. 11/10, highly recommend.

A lot of other games need to take notice of Elden Ring. Challenging mechanics, amazing/fleshed out world, very little in the way of hand-holding, non-linearity, no micro-transactions, endless customisation. It perfectly encapsulates why I won't buy Assassin's Creed or Far Cry games any more.

From Soft has a little ways to go with some small performance issues here and there, and the reliability of their multiplayer but overall I'd have to give it a 10/10.

Main story and side quests are awesome, definitely get you attached to certain characters in the the game.
World feels kind of empty at times, but also has a lot of depth and character as well.

Made grown man cry many times
Graphics are stunning
Gameplay can feel a little clunky
Overall like a 8.5/10 game, would recommend
