While VS’s art style can be subjective and minimalistic, the game itself is build on a simple, yet extremely addicting gameplay loop. During the first couple runs it may seem like there is not much to this, but as it goes on the complex mechanics that this game has to offer unravel each time you unlock a new character, find a new relic or beat a boss. It feels very rewarding. You could spend hours experimenting with weapons and ability combinations, evolving the weapons and unlocking all the secrets that VS has in store. There is far more to this game then meets the eye.
