Fear and Hunger is a game that immediately kills you with rabid dogs. To say any more would spoil one of the greatest RPG experiences of my life. If for some reason something about this speaks to you, I recommend playing it.

Animyst represents everything that I ADORE in an mmo. It's obtuse, unpleasant on the eyes, difficult, completely barren, and controls like wrestling underwater. It's gorgeous. The creativity and soul that went into this project absolutely blows me away and if you're the kind of person who values the creativity and beauty of something that is soul crushingly bleak and extremely strange then do yourself a favor and ♥♥♥♥ around in this games hellish nightmare desert for a few hours. How badly I wish to have played this game at its peak!

Hidetaka Miyazakis Elden Ring is, in my opinion, a colossal flop. Really unpopular opinion. I also think that Bloodborne killed the series. Bite me.

One of the most deep and fulfilling RPGs of all time. ToME4 has the benefit of being possibly the most approachable roguelike classic to an outsider, and boasts an incredibly realized world with a LOT of stuff to do. Try the free version on the official website, play on the mode with multiple lives, and when you're hooked beyond saving come back here and buy the game. Definitely worth 10 bucks.

This game has such a remarkably strong grip over my life that i'm compelled to leave a positive review.

I actually tried NGU Idle several times years ago during the Kongregate idle game craze but it never stuck with me... until one day I was thinking "damn I need a clicker game that is just absolute suffering and will take over every facet of my life" and well yeah I pretty much found it. It also happens to be really really funny

EDIT: 730 days later, I finished NGU Idle. What a great story, and pretty heartfelt too. Can't wait for NGU 2. This may be one of the actual genuine greatest videogames ever made, even if its latter 2 difficulties aren't nearly as polished as the first playthrough on normal mode.
