The Pals have so much personality and the game is so quirky and fun. There's a lot of kinks that obviously still need to be worked out since I played this in early access, but this was well worth the money and I really hope the developers keep updating this game for a long time.

ARK has easily become my favorite game on Steam. I feel like so far the height of enjoyment for me was after the release of the Ragnarok map. I've easily spent most of my time playing on that map on private servers. Subsequent updates and DLC packages have been kind of disappointing, though...

I love a lot of the new dinos and creatures that come with much of the DLCs, but in general the maps have been disappointing compared to Ragnarok. I'll try out a new DLC maps and then just yearn for the openness and beauty of Ragnarok and it just kills the experience for me. But... I'll still keep playing and I'll still keep hoping for a new map that gives me another great experience and also includes the newer creatures from more recent DLCs.

I have hope for the new Crystal Isles map that's coming soon!

All in all, I definitely recommend this game.
