The Sonic Generations remaster is pretty bog standard but Shadow Generations is the real deal. Sonic Team has taken everything they've learned since Generations first launched in 2011 and created something truly special that anybody who likes Sonic will absolutely adore.

Do not buy this game, the studio behind it has been closed and there is nobody working on it.
If you want a spaceflight sim experience play the first game. And with a few graphical mods it's an even better and more complete experience.

Great improvement over the first game. The cars all feel great to drive, the customization features are excellent, and there's even a bit of multi groove racing now. Easy recommendation for racing fans.

(Also just to note: The system requirements are a little overstated from what I can tell. My PC doesn't quite meet the recommended requirements and I'm still getting a minimum of 120FPS with max settings even with a full field on screen.)

But seriously, I played the original version of this many years ago and I'm really happy to see it pop up again. My only issues are that it's a little buggy, can be resource intensive (my 1660 Super is getting pushed a lot harder than I expected), and that the stress indicator from the original doesn't seem to be present. Besides that it's really fun, especially for free.
