IT'S FINALLY OVER, I'M FREE!

This game is super relaxing! It's easy to color the pixels, you can mute the audio if you don't want to listen to it and throw on a podcast or chill tunes & just vibe with it. It's something I really like to do in the late evening before I get away from my screens for the night :)

I played this game the day it came out in 2018, and I have thought of it at least once a week since then. One of my favorite pieces of art in any. This is a beautiful story that everyone should give themselves a chance to experience.

What a wonderful game! Really entertaining and made me and my community think! Enjoyed the sound direction and the puzzles throroughly.

This game needs to be played by more people. There is so much in the story, the audio and visual design, the Nordic lore and collectibles......I can't say enough good things about this. It's more than a game, it's a true experience.

Sure, I liked this. It creeped me out and I enjoyed the story/mystery aspect. The game was far from perfect, that's for sure - obviously optimized for VR and not for regular PC gameplay - but I enjoyed it and so did my viewers. I hope the sequel continues in this vein!

As much as I wanted to like this game, particularly as a fan of older Nancy Drew/other mystery puzzle games, I found this too redundant and easy to be enjoyable, and the story lacked so much. The entirety of the ending made no sense with the rest of the story and seemed very lazily put together.

I wish I could give this one neither a thumbs up or thumbs down. But the first 4 episodes are really fantastic, and build on so much more than the first season did, that I can't help but be swayed. However, I was pretty disappointed in the last chapter, and that bitter taste is the last one you walk away with.

Played this game over about 2 weeks every night while falling asleep, or as a brain teaser occasionally throughout the day. Love the small challenge in it and the fact that there is a relaxed mode with no time limit, so that you can wind down with the game. Easy achievements as well! It's a little gem of a game for calming yourself down or adding to a nighttime routine, at least in the short term.

PROS:
+ fun and challenging puzzles
+ achievements offer more value w/ replayability
+ extra secrets to explore
+ music and sound design
+ good narrative, more fleshed-out than the original
+ really fun way to test the boundaries of communication for any type of relationship (couples, friends, relatives, random strangers etc)
+ short enough to not be boring, but long enough (and with replay value) to not feel cheated out of money
+ you can tell this small team put a ton of love into this game

CONS:
- reading cursive scrawl with no option to convert to text (and several grammatical errors within said writing)

A LITTLE OF BOTH:
The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ marionette/court jester is still totally creepy
