I mean optimization aside which we all know is not that great as of the moment, The game itself apart from that is great and does clench the thirst we had since Monster Hunter World / Iceborne

It's been a while since I enjoyed a game as much as this.

One of the core mechanics of the soul series what i/we love about that it uses death to teach us how to react in hostile environments, encouraging repetition, learning from past mistakes, and prior experience as a means of overcoming its difficulty which in turn is satisfying when we finally overcome it and for that thrill alone why many of us will love these games. Not to mention for Elden Ring that you can respec far easier than in any of the Souls games. engrossing scope and excellent progression systems make it the most intricate FromSoftware RPG yet. And although it has quite a few repetitive moments, the game's grandiose open world and electrifying spectacle with over 100 bosses usually make up for it, not to mention a proper lore to back it all up. Game of the year 2022.

Optimization wise they said 1440p for my 2060 but seems like 80fps avg on 1080p with everything on high apart from Cascaded Shadow Resolution on low BUT IT MAKES UP FOR IT AS I CAN PET CATS!!

Story might not be the best but (not bad either, just nothing over the roof) but gameplay is where it shines.. gameplay isn't repetitive at all as we get a lot of stuff going which I'm in all for rather would say I very much enjoy and exceeded all my expectations in terms of what I expected!

Would recommend full price aslong you got something better than a GTX 1080 or least 2060 for 20 series (Don't underestimate DLSS and keep it on balanced, if you don't use the reddit fix for config file "it increased 25% in my case the performance" so after editing the config file I was getting around 70avg, 1080p DLSS off)
Otherwise get it on next sale, as hopefully by then they would have more patches out.

Though I think this game was every penny worth for me personally.

Edit 2021: After a year long patches this game is a fun exp for what it's worth in sale.

Saw it from a distance, this gonna recieve Game of The Year 2019

A must have tool for all PC users, and with the price in steam sale it's a steal

Started the metro series as my friends recommended me and after few years we get a sequel,
not just any sequel, a worthy one and that's for sure as i just end the game and all the emotions are coming back all at once its overwhelming at the same time and heart wrenching on another but all i could say it was a right decision i brought the game before it went off steam

lost it when Miller called Artyom, son and used his serum to save him

I usually don't review a game after i beat it, but this game beats me instead...

It was sitting in my libary from last year, i didn't got the urge to play it, as i was unware what it was...
I dive into this game ofc unaware what its actually was but fully aware of the Blue Butterfly which was shown in the first chapter
it was all going good but one thing was keep bugging me was the butterfly as i already knew its the butterfly effect but wasn't aware it gonna leave such a big impact (in the game and in my life) until i finished the game
and i must say this game is a materpiece
