Addicting, if a little simplistic.

This game is maliciously and purposefully too hard, even on easy mode. So much so that I suspect the developers didn't know how to fix it and just went with it. They say that, for people who know what they're doing, you should only succeed 10% of the time. I've had this game for 10 years and I've never beaten it, even on easy mode.

If this sounds like fun, enjoy, but I hate it. The gameplay itself is fun, but rage-inducing. What does Easy Mode even mean if you repeatedly die within the first two jumps?

This game reminds me a lot of FTL (faster than light) but is much more in-depth. It's like a cross between FTL and EVE Online (without the online so much). I really love building and designing the ships and bases. Lots of fun, and I want to explore more. I hope eventually there are more parts to use to help automate. Maybe I just haven't found them yet, if they're already there.

This isn't the newest game, but it's got so much content and so many players, and new stuff constantly coming out, so it's always fresh
