If you love jiggin, this is the gig to jig

I want to like the game, but the physics are horrible in every way imaginable.
Movement is slow, jumps are short and clunky, and the weird freezing on impact that every attack does is just awful. You either feel infinitely frame trapped or like you are playing with 200 ping, even in offline. I don't know how this makes it past the cutting room floor. I gave it 5ish hours, because I really do love the art, sound, character options and IPs they got going on, but if the gameplay is bad, the game is bad.

This one is fantastic. I loved Tetris Attack on SNES growing up and this is a clone of that with a great feel and animations. You can do some fun tricks like hopping gaps in the freeze for some big combolicious maneuvers

Cool concept, poor execution. Would love to see a different game like this, but I got the entire story in so few searches and then tried to find random clips I didn't care about anymore for achievements sake. It is fine at best, but for 10 bucks, probably not worth the experience. Just watch it on youtube if you want to know the story.

This game is fantastic.
Bite sized, atmospheric, extremely intuitive, surprisingly emotional.
You really get attached to your mech, I named mine Millie.
A nice bite sized adventure, light puzzles, great music.
I would compare it to the likes of Limbo or Journey with the gameplay of a station game in the vein of Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.
Recommend for anyone who enjoys a shorter experience or enjoys any of the games above.

Played it over the free weekend. While the voice acting is great and the graphics are pretty sick, it just feels clunky. I was excited when I got to the War Table section of the game, opening it up but you realize quickly they run out of variety. The combat consists of fighting the same enemies that just become more and more healthy without any semblance of interest. Just mash light or heavy til you win. They pretend to have depth with the parry system but it is also laughably bad imo. I was interested in where the story was going for a moment there but I think I am just going to watch the important bits to get it all, as playing more of the game seems to be a chore.

Another thing I found was that the games loading went from pretty seemless/not intrusive to ridiculously long when you get to the Helicarrier. Each mission takes forever to load in/load out. Before that I had no issues.

Overall just really meh experience. Play it over the free weekend and then drop it like its hot

A grand rhythm game and a visual spectacle with music from a legendary artist. It can be a bit complex, so not sure if it is a casual rhythm game fans game, but if you are willing to dive into the complexity of it, its a good time.
