It has the puzzle craftsmanship of Portal with the visual aesthetic of Control.
In the end, it felt truly like an epic game.

I thought this looked like a 2.5D game from the cover art and it sat on my Steam library for years.

But actually, now that I've played it, I would describe it as sort of like BioShock in space.

It's a sci-fi FPS in an alternate-history world, set in an Art Deco-futuristic location complex that had just been overwhelmed by a catastrophe. It has guns, power-up abilities and skill trees. It has moral choices that affect the ending. It has a twisting narrative that makes you continually question everyone's - even your own - motives.

And like BioShock, I think this is a good game.

How good is this game? Let's just say, after 12 years in development... it was worth the wait.

Extremely short and simple game, made during the infancy of VR.

It asked me to write a review, so here you are.

It's great. It's a puzzle game down to its bone. It has the same elegance as Portal, and is also pretty to look at.

What makes this game even better is its philosophical exploration on the subject of consciousness and morality throughout the narrative. If you complete one of its optional puzzles, you can even read classic arguments on the topic from philosophers like Searle and Dennet. Though not a deep dive by any means, it works as an introductory tasting to the subject.

It's a relatively short game unless you find its puzzles particularly challenging. I've completed it in 8 hours.

A really good game! Like Alien Isolation but more philosophical.

SImple game. 5 minutes long. Just look around and be creeped out.

It has a really realistic VHS tape effect that is very cool!

Someone put a lot of thought into this story. People who like to think will probably enjoy figuring the truth out, and when the story is done, perhaps they will have something to think about for the world we live in today.

Subtitles are sloppy. They appear early and contain spelling errors. Sometimes appear too quickly. Do not recommend.

Addendum: The description says it's in 1080p, but the video resolution is actually nothing but an upscale from SD! This is really unbelievable, and possibly illegal. Going to contact Steam support about this.
