If you played LIMBO, or want something with a truly beautiful art style, then INSIDE is for you. It's a similar motif to LIMBO: dark puzzler, with sparse soundtrack, but not quite as noir as LIMBO. Look forward to seeing what Playdead make next!

Season 2 has seen a few gameplay refinements over the first season. Moments which require player interaction are still a bit clunky, but not game breaking.

Then theres the story. Its more of the same gut wrenching, well considered storyline. I'm in two minds wether it is better than the first. If you liked the first, play this one as soon as possible.

This verges on a perfect game for me as it hits my main criteria: short (can easily finish in a weekend), great story, great art style.

Any game whose first song is Black Sabbath - Children of the Grave is a win in my book. Quality humour from Jack Black, and cameo appearances from Lemmy and Ozzy. Awesome!

Normally, I'd dismiss strategy games as I don't find the time to really get into them. This however, sunk it's claws in hard. Initially massively frustrating, but with each death you learned more about the gameplay. You can have the best tactical mind in the world, and sometimes the RNG in the game will still punish you. As they say, thats XCOM baby! Highly recommend this to anyone - especially if they don't normally play strategy games.
