I agree with most negative reviews. The game does feel rough on the edges. It feels unpolished, sluggish at time and there's a typo in the main menu... 6 years later. The map design is poor, big empty rooms all over the place.
I feel like all budget and efforts went into the graphics, music and character design everything else was neglected.
So, even at 91% sale, I can't recommend.

I came here with a negative opinion then remembered it was a one person project. Even though it's a one-man project, this game still lack polishing (things that should have been patched after a year): the weird capitalisation of words, the grammar errors (like veal instead of veil), the fact that you can interact with thing behind you, there's also assets that are logically out of place (like there's an EXIT sign in front of a room in the hospital)...
One point I'll gladly give is the fact that you can't use any monitor resolution you want. Lots of game gives you the option to use resolutions they didn't test and it often breaks the game.
The only "horror" element (except the couple jump scares) is you being chased by ghosts until you reach a checkpoint like 3 times.
Despite all of this, I think the game and the dev behind it have potential.
For a game that short, you need at least one friend to do some QA for you before you release you next game.

I'll vote no to even things out a little. The game wasn't bad but it's too easy and too short. Took me less than 90 minutes while sipping my coffee to 100% it with no help whatsoever.
90% of the screwdriver interaction are only there to waste your time...
Also, changing the resolution is a game breaking feature. I tried playing in 3440x1440 and sometimes the safe's buttons would get stuck. Took me a while to figure out why.

Tedious and bland. The opposite of how I want my eggs.

Not worth it.
In the sea of idle games, this one doesn't distinguish itself from the rest.

The current wave of update is hurting the players more than it's helping. F¤ck UI updates if they are going to break basic vital features.

Literally unplayable. The game crashes on start-up.

Edit: Even though I managed to play 14h, I still don't recommend. Starting the game is always a gamble. One time you're okay the next it crashes. You try multiple fixes and when you think you found one... nope the next day it crashes again.
Unless you are ready to reinstall the game everytime you wanna play, stay away. Don't bother customer support, the problem is on your side obviously >_>

Honestly, I had fun figuring out the puzzles and executing them until world eight where they became convoluted and required pixel-perfect timing.
So yeah, even tho I had real fun in the first half the difficulty ramp was not what I was hoping for at the end. It's frustrating when you know the answer but you're required to execute it too perfectly.
I would put neutral if I could but since I can't I'll go with no instead.

Don't believe steam, it "only" took me 70h to complete the game not 100.
Not sure why I review a game that old but yeah, I do recommend.
