The game is really good. The story is great, the atmosphere is creepy in a perfect way the music and sound effects are perfectly on point.
My only negative points are the fact that there's no checkpoints at all so when my game froze near the very end I had to restart from the beginning.
Adding steam achievements would encourage people to replay it for the different endings.

All in all, this dev is on the right way and has great potential.

Yes because it was free. It's good but not sure I understand all the hype about it. Maybe it was better 25 yrs ago?

I really can't recommend this.... thing. The puzzles are fine but that's about it. Everything else is trash. The graphics are awful but that I can live with if it was the only problem. The mouse sensitivity is WAY too high and there's no control option to slow it down. Speaking of controls, for some weird reason, we had to hold a mouse button down the entire length of the game otherwise the camera wasn't following the mouse (like we were tab'd out of the game). There's no air control, once you jump, you can only look in front of you.
We were forced to play it 5 times because the achievements are also broken (only the host get some of them).
Oh, it's also very short. First playthrough shouldn't get you more than 30 minutes.

At least it's free.

I usually like these types of games but this one... I don't know. Something just didn't click for me. After one playthrough, I had enough. I did a second just for the sake of it and yeah... I'm not convinced. Every character is obnoxious and the plot isn't engaging enough. That's a pass for me.

Best 16 bits JRPG since the SNES. If you grew up and have fond memories of games like Breath of Fire and Chrono Trigger, this game is for you. The game is both beautiful and beautifully crafted, from the map design to the music.
I wholeheartedly recommend.

This has to be one of the most boring game of this genre. Good concept on paper but poorly executed. Like many others have pointed out, having to run back and forth between rooms time and time again becomes tedious real fast. The story seems fine but I'm not sure it's worth the time investment.
I'll see but I'm not sure I'll come back to it.
