Seems like an interesting game. Found out it doesnt have native VR support so you need a controller to play it.

Will update after further playtime

Everyone is looking for that shining new MMO, but this isn't it. Everytime a new MMO comes out, its packed to the brim with players wanting to try it out. Sadly, after you try this game, you will see its nothing new or innovative. IT's the same old cookie cutter Korean MMO. Accept quest 1, Kill mob x, Harvest crop y, turn in, get xp, rinse and repeat.

I can't speak for the PvP side because I haven't bothered with it but the combat feel is enough to inform me (an MMO pvp vet) that I will not enjoy it.

Also, the graphics are optimized so piss poorly, its unplayable for many players, without severe frame rate drops.

Not recommended.

Good program for viewing vr videos. My only gripe is the passthrough mode doesn't seem to work with the pimax crystal and some videos don't render properly at all.

Update: after a recent update the program no longer loads in VR mode, utilizing a windowed desktop mode only. I use an Open XR provided by Pimax but even after following the suggestion in the FAQ and reverting it to steam VRs open xr, it still only loads in window mode.

This program is a bust for now. Can not find a solution. Will update if its ever resolved.

Was fun while it lasted. Going to uninstall it and request a refund, though I don't have high hopes of that with the hours I've sunk into this game. I have ZERO desire to create, let alone link a PSN account to my steam account. Sony has a long history of data breaches and while many of you shrug this off, just consider that it could potentially lead to a breach of your steam account!

Sony has proven that they can't be trusted with any of our data, so buy this game at your own risk because now they are requiring a PSN account to be linked, even if you don't have a PlayStation whatsoever.

And yes I know (now) that a psn account requirement was in since launch, HOWEVER, this functionality was not implemented and as a result, many of us had no idea because it wasn't exactly broadcast via megaphone that a PSN account would be necessary down the road. It was basically 'Fine print' and many of us were too busy salivating to buy it after watching the vods.

I would have personally passed on this game, had I noticed that.

For those of you who are going around saying 'What's the big deal?' or "It only takes 5 minutes!' Well go back and re-read what I wrote a few times until you manage to wrap your head around it.

Sony. Can't. Be. Trusted. And i'll not put my steam account at risk.

That's all I've got to say on the matter. 'Caveat Emptor' as they say. Let the buyer beware.

I use a Pimax vr crystal headset and the game looks amazing, but there are stability issues. My biggest issue is there is no way to set a controller stick dead-zone. This would vastly improve the quality of this game as not even 10 minutes into the game, I am experiencing massive joystick drift issues. For example: when i try to grab someone from behind to bit them, more often than not, if im not careful my character will push right through the enemy npc causing them to spot me.

Add a dead zone option and i may revisit this one.

Absolutely horrible. As a VR player, this update is revolting to say the least. The on-foot aspect completely breaks VR immersion, so if you're a VR space cowboy like me, skip this one. It also really messes up the graphic settings and has caused a plethora of issues while streaming. I am rolling it back to the previous state as I write this.
Thankfully I only had it a few days so no major miss.

Updated review June 11, 2022.

Ok so, initially I found this game to be mostly unplayable due to severe stuttering and hitching issues. Mind you my PC specs far exceed the minimum requirements.

I googled the issue and tried all the graphic settings "tweaks" with no success.

I noticed it became significantly worse whenever I listened to Spotify.

After much frustration, I began to consider a different possibility. The audio buffer levels.

In winblows 10, you can adjust your audio buffer to a larger size than the default.

I use a program called Voicemeeter Banana to separate my audio streams, which allows me to Livestream to Twitch and YouTube while listening to Spotify, without broadcasting the copyrighted music, while still being able to stream my game audio.

DMCA was hitting me every day and I like to jam to choice music while I play.

By default, the audio buffer size in Voicemeeter was set to 512 mb. I upped this to 2048mb and what do you know, the game runs as smooth as butter.

So, if you're experiencing stuttering or glitching, frame rate hitches drops etc. Try this.

You can also raise the audio buffer in winblows without Voicemeeter Banana under your audio device manager settings. Google how to do it.
Raise the buffer as high as you can.

Hard to believe after all those blogs and articles telling us to tweak this or that video setting, and it turned out to be an audio buffer issue.

If this worked for you, you're welcome. 🙂

I've been using this for a while but it has trouble playing anything above 4k. For the price I don't think it's worth it anymore. There's another free player that seems to work better I'm going to go with that for now and recommend you don't buy skybox. Look for Deo Vr player instead
