So far the game is AWESOME it starts off a little slow for like the first 10 seconds, lol it's Metal Gear it's not slow. So far the port is AMAZING, graphically speaking the port is great and there are no frame drops, no stuttering, no screen tearing, and runs very well on lower range PCs' if thats what your using. I have 7.3 hours in game and have only progressed 4%, if that tells you anything as to how long the campaign is. Also there are tons of side missions and other activities to do around the map. The combat system is easy to use and you can play really any way you see fit you can be a maniac and just go crazy playing the game like its Call of Duty, or you can go stealthily like it's meant to be played. Personally I like sniping, so i'll pick a decent spot to set up a good distance away since I haven't unlocked the sniper with the suppressor yet and headshot all the enemies and then go stealthy and sweep up the survivors. It's a very interesting and fun game, and is well worth $60.

Well first off this isn't my only account in which I have DayZ Standalone. My original account that was my buddies I had used because he could not run the game on his computer had over 700 hours that I had logged in that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but sadly I uninstalled steam and could not remember the password for his email to get the code to log back in. But anyway I have played the game since it came out and have gone threw every single kink and update. The game is well worth $29.99, it's unlike any other game you will ever play. This version is even different than the mod it is based off almost completely different in fact. The firefights are ridiculous, ask anyone this game literally gives you adreneline when you get into sketchy situations (NOT EVEN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WITH YOU). Sadly you will be a noob for quite some time even if you played the mod. I play with my clan (sometimes 13 people at a time) and yes we are a bandit clan because there isn't really any way to do hero things yet but when there is that is what we plan on doing but in the current state of the game it is mostly kill or be killed. There have been moments where we have meet some amazing people and or have saved peoples lives but it is very rare. Sometimes even after you save someone they will still try to kill you. With every update the game gets better and better and more and more people are starting to play it. The only game where a player loaded out with Kevlar armor and an M4 can be beaten to death by a naked man with a rock. 10/10 Would by again.

I previously had a positive review on this game it was a good game at the time and I enjoyed playing it. Like I said it WAS a good game.... I recently tried playing it again two days ago and it was terrible it wasn't fun, I couldn't find a game with more than 2 people in it, and I can't run it anymore. Which is strange because on my old PC I could still run this game on high... and when I got my new PC almost a year ago I could play this game on max settings with no problem at 50-60 FPS. But the other day when I tried to play I hopped on a solo/lan server and could barely get 20 FPS on low settings, I don't know if there were any game breaking updates or anything like that but I feel like the game isn't playable anymore, and that the community even though it was small before is now non existent. With not being able to find servers with more than two people and the game running like garbage... when it used to run excellently, I'm going to have to re-review it as not recommended.

Hey guys I play this game all the time and I am not going to lie its amazing but DO NOT get it off of steam the version that they have on here is an un updated version from almost two years ago and you cannot update it off of steam i would suggest downloading Playwithsix (the original dayz software) or the latest dayz that i think isn't that great and is much harder to use DayzCommander. Either way if you use those to you will get the current version of dayz and all of the other mods like Epoch or different maps. Playwithsix has all of them and more for other games. I hope this helps if you're having trouble with the steam download. No offense to Steam but you should probably update the version. I am recommending this mod but not this download.
