I'm so pleased with this, it may be a short demo, but I got to play all the way through it, and have an extra seven minutes to spare and was able to try to speed run it, the demo is quite impressive. Resident Evil 2 is probably my favorite of the series and VII was good even though it wasn't quite the resident evil I personally wanted. But using the assets from VII to remake 2 is incredible and I'm happy to say this game deserves a preorder. I've had bad luck recently with preorders but this demo proves that I made the right purchase this time.

The only gripe I have with it is the way the Graphical settings are set up, not your typical Low, Medium, High, Ultra, it uses a setting name and then the amount of Vram the setting takes up, for example Low(*MB), Medium(*GB), High(4-12GB).... so theres several settings for High, and it shows a ton of warnings when you try to crank it up to max, I have a decent system and should be able to play on max settings especially at 1080p 144 hz but even with an I7-8700k @5ghz, 16gb 3200mhz Ram, and GTX 1080ti it almost made me feel like I shouldn't even though I more than likely can, even with the ridiculous 12GB requirement for the highest setting. (For real I doubt it even comes close to using that much) I dont have a single issue running the game I had it all maxed out but left the Textures on the 8GB of vram setting, got a smooth 144hz with some minor dips. It's just the warnings popping up everytime you try to change it, it seems like a little too much. and it kind of overwhelmed me when It said I had to have 12GB of vram to play on max settings.

Absolutely LOVE it, haven't had this much fun in a survival game in awhile. Played for about 9 hours today which is day 2 of release with some friends I used to squad with on DayZ SA, and we all had the best time. Obviously some bugs to work out and some other things that need some fixing but other than that a very solid release, Gunplay is good, not the best but tolerable, could be smoothed out. Took me a minute to get used to using scroll wheel to change running speed but fairly ok considering tarkov kind of does the same thing just not as ingrained in the gameplay. Graphically pretty good reminds me of Miscreated, and having the attributes and stuff to customize your character to help with vision and awareness is pretty cool too. The puppets are awesome, decent AI so far haven't had any major issues, the Mechs however need some major work, really cool feature but the targeting can get pretty wonky pretty quick while trying to sneak by them. Can't wait to see how the game grows and changes everything so far is very promising. A lot of people have been getting frame drops, my friends included, personally I haven't had an issue with my i5-8600k and 1080ti (Get about 135 - 160fps constant on Epic, with only one crash out of 12 hours of gameplay), but have heard about constant crashes on the reg. 1080 as well as anything lower than a 1070 getting major fps drops in certain areas, which is to be expected the game just released, an optimization patch is more than likely coming very soon. Will update this review when I get further along than 12 hours but as of now I highly recomend especially for any hardcore survival players looking for a new game to sink your teeth into.

Absolutely love it! A surprisingly fast paced BR, which honestly we were missing, going from 45 - 60 minute games in FN and PUBG, to about 15 - 20 minutes at the most, 50 people total and a decent map with decent weapons and a TTK that is absolutely perfect. CS:GO meets Battle Royal in the sweetest fashion. Incredibly impressed so far even with the small voip issues at launch. Can't wait to see what's next for Islands of Nyne!

So I just beat the game, don't exactly know what percent I'm actually on but I still have most of the Oberkomando to kill and hunt. This game by far exceeded my expectations, a lot of people are writing some absurdly funny negative reviews on this game. I see it all the time with new releases. People either not being able to run it or some graphical bug that "ruins" the whole game for that for person, any game that's been out for less than a week is flooded with those kind of negative reviews, some add some more depth, but still you cant knock the game at 1-2 hours just because theres a texture bug and write a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ review because you're a little heated you can't run the game. But sadly it happens, take The Evil Within 2 for example it's first week out it was mixed with mostly negative reviews and about 95% of those were, "This game is ♥♥♥♥, what a terrible pc port, fps is so bad, I have a GTX 1080ti theres no reason it should run this bad!" I mean just stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that but literally 3 days after release it got a hotfix fixing the graphics issues and making the game run smooth for everyone with the recommended/minimal hardware, so you know what happened? The reviews went up and now it's at Very positive, with 2,000+ positive reviews and only less than 200 negative reviews, because anyone that commented moaning and whinning about the fps issues or graphical bugs either changed their review to something positive or completely deleted it as to not seem like a little ♥♥♥♥♥. I figure that's how this game and most triple A titles that have mainly negative reviews after launch consisting mostly of fps/graphical issues are going to go. Now that my little rant is done about the cancer of the steam reviewing community let's get into the Pro's and Con's.

Pro's:

Gameplay- Very fun, the gunplay and melee killing is very satisfying. There are a ton of side missions besides the main story missions. You can also travel from region to region you've been to before in story to explore and complete side missions as progress further into the game and can unlock some pretty awesome upgrades for either weapons or your what I like to call "inspector gadget, gadgets". Also there is a kill list of the Nazi High Over Command or Oberkomando, to track, hunt, and destroy. Plus tons of new weapons all of which being completely customizable unlike previous titles where you could find maybe a pistol suppressor or something like that during a mission. Now you can add scopes, suppressors, jungle mags, armor piercing rounds, rapid fire upgrades, drum mags, you name it. Also you can customize the grenade, don't know why but it gets pretty crazy for those tough enemies.

Graphics - I haven't had a single issue yet. Preloaded the game a couple hours before launch, did the update, launched and was getting 100fps on mein leben settings(Ultra/Max setttings) with no graphical bugs or issues besides a little clipping with BJs arm when behind some of the covers. I'm running on a full AMD build. AMD FX 8350 OC at 4.5ghz with liquid cooling, 16GB of ram, and an RX 480 8GB OC Red Devil. Then again the game is designed for AMD builds and even so for the new Ryzen cpus and radeon gpus, so more than likely that's been contributing to the "I have a GTX 1080ti why is this ♥♥♥♥ not running it good I have best pc in world show me bobs and vagene." comments but I guess we'll just have to wait until the hot fix to see if people stop whinning. But needless to say no issues for me and boy does it look fantastic!

Story (MINOR SPOILERS) - Loved the story not only did it continue right where TNO left off it added a ton of depth to BJs character, showing what led up to him joining the army and his homelife growing up, BE WARNED VERY SAD MOMENTS INVOLVING DOGGOS AND ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PAPAS. Not only were the missions a decent length there was sort of an explorational feeling while doing them going different paths and fighting different enemies, all while making it to the end to trigger the cinematic and getting a very decent cutscene to go a long with the amazing combat and nazi killing you just enjoyed in the mission. And just a heads up Anya is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy ♥♥♥♥♥, the whole story shes like 6 months pregnant with BJs twins, but she still fights on the front lines and is one of the most badass characters in the story, major woodies ahead when you get to the second to last level and she blows up a group of nazis and topless gets showered in their blood and unloads two rifles into a panzerhound. Jesus christ this game is fantastic.

Con's:

Small Bugs - Ran into a bug on the Venus mission where after leaving the escape pod my game would restart due to some unknown error ony happened once and was fine after that. Previously stated clipping issue with BJs arm while in some covers. Also a small but hilarious one is on the ride the Panzerhound mission while shooting the flame thrower and barbequeing enemies some would be lauched hundreds of feet in the air.

Other than those I haven't had any issues with the game, its incredible I definetely recommend it.

If you enjoyed TNO and TOB, you'll 100% love this game.

If you want to spend hours shooting, hacking, slashing, and decapitating Nazis then this is the game for you.

Can't wait for the rest of the Freedom Chronicles as well as the third installment of the series which I think is going to go into the supernatural aspect that some of the original ones had. So maybe we'll some ♥♥♥♥ like we did in Wolfenstein(2009) where we could travel between the real world and the veil again but who knows.

Absolutely AMAZING! That's all I need to say.

Ok I want to get into this now that I have a little more than a couple hours, I'm still not too far in but I think I've played enough to review it so far.

Pros:

Graphically amazing, big improvement from the original. Even better with the HD Texture pack and 4k cinematics DLC's that are free by the way. (Kind of like the HD pack for Fallout 4 but not as big.) I personally haven't had FPS issues running Ultra settings on Native 1920x1080, at 75hz/fps constantly, although I do have freesync enabled which might be helping.

Gameplay is very smooth and crisp much better than the original, much more orcs and different enemies to fight, a ♥♥♥♥ ton more captains and legendary enemies to fight as well. Tons of side objectives that give you suprisingly good abilities and special skills. And the new companion system is top notch, whether it be a story character you can use to help stealth kill some orcs or the new soldier option so you can have a group of soldiers constantly help out and watch your back.

The Map is much bigger and way more diverse, the first one I felt was pretty gloomy and most of the regions felt the same. But the new one is way different, each region actually feels like a new map and place to explore, with tons of hidden caverns, and barrens.

The Story is also an improvement in my opinion, the first one was amazing but this one has so many new elements and characters too it, making it much more interesting and building a good deal extra to the story from SOW.

Cons:

A few bugs here and there, which I'm sure will be sorted out in the next couple days.

Other Thoughts:

As for the Microtransactions, I haven't even touched the marketplace and I'm doing fine. It's only popped up once with an ad/hint to check out the limited assassins crate in the very beginning but hasn't showed anything since. In my opinion it's completely optional whether you buy anything from it or not, it in no way has affected gameplay or anything like some people are saying. The reviews regarding this issue are just like any game that has a similar marketplace. Any game that has something similar to this has the exact same reviews more than likely from the same people. Take Deus Ex Mankind Divided for example. You didn't have to buy anything from it or even use it, if I remember correctly it didn't even have a pop up showing you it was there, but still the same negative reviews because it had "game ruining microtransactions". It's all stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Absolutely wonderful, the game is everything I expected and then some. I've come to love the Resident Evil franchise whether it's the games or the movies. The game starts out great 10 minutes in and your following a creepy old man through the woods stumbling into clue after clue as you search for your missing wife thought to have been dead for 3 years and just when you think you got it good things get way to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad. It's a constant thrill ride that keeps you craving for more.

Pros:
Graphics - It looks beautiful, even the creepy, gross, old and weathered houses and creatures look fantastic, and for me it runs without an issue at max settings and 60fps at 1080p.

Gameplay - Very smooth, clean animations, fun gun play, interesting puzzles and situations to get into.

Story - I haven't beaten the story yet but am a good chunk in, right off the bat you're at the edge of your seat and get knocked out on multiple occasions, bosses and enemies are terrific and the way the story is written and flows is fantastic, definitely deserves multiple play throughs!

Fun as all hell! And fairly scary enough to make you not wanna walk around your house in the dark or at least unarmed ;)

Cons:
Mold Monsters - as seen in the demo are very easy to avoid (in my opinion)and very easy to outrun besides the spider like ones.

Storage and Inventory - controls on mouse and keyboard are a little clunky.

This is an early review, I'll state more when I finish the game and have it all worked out hope this helps the people looking to buy!

I don't know what's with all the reviews regarding, spending money to be able to progress through the game. All the stuff these kids are saying their having to shovel money out for, is ridiculous. I have been able to A. Either find everything while looting and exploring the map. And B. There are ingame traders where you can buy or sell any item in the game. So having all these people say there is all this pay to win ♥♥♥♥ and not even seeing any of that ingame for my self almost four hours in, seems pretty fishy to me. Also to the people saying the game is "so terrible" because of the mouse Acceleration not being able to change, get an actual gaming mouse with a dpi button if it's so bad. So far the story is great and interesting and there are tons of side missions and what not to do if you don't want to dive into the main objectives right off the bat. Here is in my opinion the correct Pro/Con list if you want to purchase this game.
PROS:
Great story and narrative thus far.
Very decent graphics.
Tons of side missions and places to explore.
Every lock or computer you hack is pretty much a little puzzle game which is awesome.
So far 4 hours in and NO pay to win or even paying for anything with real money has been an option.(will update if it does end up being true later in the game.)
CONS:
Could be a tad more optimized.
Sprinting feels clunky to me, ever since Dying Light came out I feel like that's the way to go on sprinting in games.
Aiming down Iron Sights is a little ♥♥♥♥♥ with Mouse and Keyboard aswell but so far not a problem.
All the people complaining about the game after 1 hour of playing and giving false reviews.

God, I don't know what to say... I've played all the Tomb Raiders while growing up and the two newest ones that have been released are incredible. I loved Tomb Raider 2013, and Rise of The Tomb Raider is so much more. A great story, amazing graphics, and they smoothed out the gameplay since Tomb Raider 2013. I'm getting amazing FPS on Very High, getting mainly 60 solid sometimes dropping down to 59 here and there. The two hours of the story I've played so far is amazing. I'll do a more indef review once I complete the full game, but so far I think it's going to be a great game.

I love this game, still haven't gotten 100%, my original review still stands, regardless of how retarded I was at the time.

This game is endless fun, especially with all of the mods for it, it's infinitely playable.

God, I have no idea whats up with all the negative reviews.... the games barely been out for a day. Yes there are bugs, has bethesda said they will be fixing them.... yes. I love the game it's wonderful like no doubt in my mind the best bethesda game since fallout 3. Trust me skyrims amazing but I think this one takes the cake I've been playing it for about 20 hours non-stop (several were in offline mode), and still have not gotten bored. I have already beaten one of the FOUR different campaign paths(Brotherhood of steel COMPLETE) and am starting the second tomorrow. I assure you this game is very much worth the money and if you are one of the negative nancy's that wrote a negative review just know that after a couple patches and fixes by Bethesda all the ♥♥♥♥ you're complaining about will be fixed! No my pros and cons of the game.
PROS:
Graphics are amazing!(Once ingame they don't look "cartoony"at all)
Runs well on a lot of rig types. When I first launched the game it said it autodetected my settings and said I had to run on low settings. I responded with ♥♥♥♥ that and set it straight to Ultra and run at around 50-60 fps lol it tryed to trick me in the beginning.
Tons of hours it took me almost 20 to just beat one of the four campaigns and that's not doing side missions or anything just plowing through campaign missions.
FOUR campaign paths you can choose between the Railroad, the Institute, the Brotherhood of Steel, or the Minutemen all resulting in different endings which is spectactular!
The combat mechanics are just amazing, smooth as butter and really enjoyable.(In first person mode)
Enjoyable side missions and random objectives(what I call the randomly stumbled upon missions)
Wicked cool companions with useful and cool skills.
Very in depth characters, even the small characters you meet for ten seconds are very well crafted.
The voices are phenomenal, a lot of distinctness in character voices and are easily recognisable.
Very large map tons of secret locations and cool sights to explore.
Base building and settlement creating is amazing.
Plus a lot more pros that would be a lot to list.

CONS:
Some small time glitches that are easily fixable that usually present them selves on day 1 release and I'm sure will be fixed shortly.
Third person combat is kinda janky.
The power armor makes me kinda mad, I would have rather had it work like it did in Fallout 3 and NV. But I mean hey they wanted to change it up.
Some Character lip sync issues and other issues with camera angle and such in dialogue chats.
Some terminals getting glitched.
Companions get into the way a lot.
Some minor hickups in the base building UI that are easily patchable.
And GD the amount of plot-twist is almost too much XD

CONCLUSION:
There you have it folks my Pros and Cons list. Is the game playable 100% for sure it is playable and enjoyable!
Do I recomend this game? ♥♥♥♥ YEAH!
Sure there are some minor issues and of course Bethesda has already started fixing them I mean come on it's only been out a day. So all you negative little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ calm your tits and wait for the bigger patches to start rolling out.
Go ahead read the negative reviews it's all about stuff Bethesda is already working on getting fixed up. And it's all mostly minor stuff.
