I have thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay despite the occasional crashes and network instability. However, Sony is now forcing everyone to connect a PSN account to play the game. I don't buy the "not linking accounts was a temporary measure!" thing from Sony. Sony is also using "griefing and harassment" in a game where it isn't hard to leave matches and block toxic people as an excuse to start harvesting biometric data from their users, which I frankly find despicable. Victory for Managed Democracy!

Factorio is an excellent game for people who enjoy planning and well-thought-out design. The intricacies make the game relatively simple to pick up, but difficult to master. Also, the dev team updates the game fairly regularly (as evidenced by their blog) adding even more content to the game. There is also quite a large modding community, for those interested in expanding the game even further.

I've played this game for almost ten years now (Ouch. That hurts to write). It is a meticulously detailed space simulator, and while it doesn't necessarily have any story guiding your hand, it is still quite fun to explore or work up your space program in Career mode if that's your jam. There are some quirks with the game that can be frustrating at times, although some of these can be fixed (If you're not using Autostruts with Advanced Tweakables enabled, you should be). This game has a lot of exploring to do already, but the modding community takes it to another level. You can mod this game until it breaks, and the modding community has come up with everything conceivable from hyper-realism to sillyness. I'm currently using an upscaled planet pack, N-body orbital mechanics, and life support / general systems overhaul mods (JNSQ, Principia, and Kerbalism in particular) among many others, and I've modded KSP into almost a new game many times over the years.

The only thing I don't like about the game is the DLC pricing. It's a bit steep, but you can get the complete edition on sale for less than $30, and it's easily worth that price if its up your alley. KSP 2 is on the horizon at the time of writing, but it's very, very alpha; it'll be a while before it has a hope of catching up.

This game is a lot of fun, even if you just play it by yourself. The AI can be a bit derpy, but I think that can be overlooked. There are just so many different things to do in Civ, especially with the scenarios and all the different types of civilizations. Randomized maps and the ability to exploit the environment and strategies with technology (say, rushing education for science) make each playthrough unique.

I really love the concept of this game, i do. However, it's frusterating when your pirates get stuck in the deck blocks and can't get up a ladder, as well as prioritizing training over firing cannons. I will recommend this game, once the AI is fixed.

Sometimes the framerate is a tad slow, but that's just my computer needing more processing power or RAM allocated for the game (the latter of the two being an easy fix). Overall, the game contains a lot of content and possibilities, especially with multiplayer. Plus there are new updates almost every Thursday, which always contain cool new features to keep you on your toes.

EDIT: Much later, I have a new computer and it has been updated to DX11. The game looks absolutely beautiful, as well as having complex issues to deal with when building / for maintenance.
