I was ready to hate on this game but its kinda awesome (adaptability is still the worst thing ever tho)

Holy Guacamoly

This game is gorgeous, and as a fan of all the previous games I can say that it definitely lives up to the quality of previous instalments and then some. This game's fresh coat of paint is executed so perfectly, with barely any noticeable rough edges (an animation here and there is a little jank, but nothing major at all). The game felt floaty when I picked it up which I was nervous about, but it really suits the mechanics and style of gameplay they went for. Did I mention how good this game looks? Cause it looks really good. pretty short for the price, but the quality makes up for it tenfold.
The soundtrack is BANGING especially in the latter half of the game, and omfg the final area's theme is SO SO SO GOOD (possibly better than pardoner's dance from RUtM????).
As a metroidvania, the exploration is very very solid, the size of the world makes backtracking not painful, and when it starts to get there BOOM they give you fast travel. The boss fights are all incredible, with my personal favourites being the recurring fights with the furry god andthe fight against Dora after you beat the game.
For people looking to get the most out of this game I would highly recommend playing the first two momodoras on Itch, then #3 and RUtM on steam before this one. It has a lot of cool callbacks to moments in the series that cant be appreciated unless you've played all of them, and they are great games in and of themselves.
I love this series with my whole ass heart, please give em a shot.

Not a big racing game fan, but holy moly this game is fun. Trying to master each track with each car is so so fun, and the online was fun with a friend, although I will admit it leaves alot to be desired. The online is limited to 1v1, and can be pretty glitchy (nothing game breaking, but sometimes the opponents car will disappear or something like that. Connectivity is actually really good).
Haven't touched the other modes but they seem pretty cool. THE VIBES ARE IMMACULATE, seeing that initial D afterimage of the brake lights is just hawt.
The drifting itself is obviously awesome, each car feels so different (chrono my beloved).
Bought it on sale for 2 dollars but I would've paid 2x the base price.
